Behind the Screen: I Love New York 3

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I Love New York 3

Tired of seeing her or not NY is a staple for Vh1 reality shows, and apparently they know it. She is the only person to go outside the dating genre into something of her own. It didnt work and I think the best thing to let her do is go back to where she can shine and make good television. Get some entertaining guys on there and let NY stir up the drama and I smell another success.

Um, well, ILNY 1 and 2 didn't seem to work out too well for her either...

I don't know about a I Love New York 3... I loved I Love NY 1 & 2... But I think both ROL & FOL crashed & burned on there third season... I think they should just be smart and let I Love NY go out when it was still awesome!!!!
ryan01#35
So its official? There will be an ILNY3?

Correct me of I'm wrong but I thought I LNY 1 & 2 were both pretty successful in the ratings department? I am sure they did better than NYGTH and NYGTW.
Anonymous#38
They were successful. NY is the one who didn't want to do ILNY3, not Vh1.

I meant they didn't work out for her "love"-wise.

Exactly. And the third season of every Vh1 show sucks hard. Why ruin it? NY should have stopped at ILNY 2. Flavor of love 3, Rock of Love Bus, and Charm school 3 all sucked and got horrible ratings compared to the first 2. And its not looking good for I love Money 3. And I know Charm School 3 is currently airing but I stopped watching 3 episodes ago. Nothing will ever compare to the first season. Daisy should have NEVER gotten a show. Heather was robbed. It was New York's decision not to do I Love New York 3. I'm sure 51 minds would have done one a long time ago if New York agreed to it. Her 15 minutes of fame are over. OVER. Vh1 needs new editors. Please bring back the magic that was Flavor of Love 1&2 and Charm School 1. Rock of love 1 & 2 weren't that bad but they didn't compare to Flavor of Love. I remember when they used to get over 3 million viewers and now Vh1 is bragging about 1 million viewers? Its obvious what needs to be done.

Due to the fact that they put I Love Money 3 as an option and 2 other ****** choices, chances are ILNY will win meaning she will have to do it. So, I think it'll probably come sometime in 2010

I would love to see I love New York 3. We need more men for I love money installments. I'm sick and tired of seeing the same old *****es from Rock of love Bus aka Gia, Ashley, including on the upcoming I love money 3. All 3 Charm schools have been boring so far except for the first one. Rock of Love 1 may have only been the best ROck of Love season, same goes for Flavor of Love 1.

I agree with the the whole we need more men thing. The Daisy of Love guys are entertaining to watch.

New York might be a very unattractive woman, but she has a personality that was made for reality television. I would personally love to see I Love New York 3.

Yeah count me in on this. We need more guys. They have a truck load of women already.

So according to Bourgy, I Love New York 3 is back on.
A source close to New York (Pictured above with VH1 super producer Jeff Ruzer) says ‘I Love New York 3′ is still on and casting is expected to commence in September. Until that time, she is supposedly filming a movie - shooting began Tuesday - with mega stars Harrison Ford and Queen Latifah
Even more proof, New York said this herself
I am gonna give my fans what they want… they want reality, they keep telling me that, so I’m gonna make that happen for sure, for sure.
YouTube - Tiffany Pollard aka New York talks about chillin with Homies & Kobe Bryant / Gina Alexander Charity *New York would definitely boost the ratings, plus the original HBIC needs to come back* Tiffany Pollard To Return To Reality Television | Bourgy.com I Love New York 3 Casting In September? | Bourgy.com

Yes! I've been having New York withdrawals for the longest. I'd watch my I Love New York 2 tapes, but Pretty makes me want to throw a drink at my TV.
Young_Mills#48
She seems very meek since her FOL 1 ~ ILNY2 days
XavierofLove#49
I can't wait for this! Looks like Vh1 got tired of the embarassing ratings & decided to go back to the shows that put them on the map.

I really think it's too little, too late for VH1...
Ilove$#51
I dont think its too little too late for VH1.. I just feel that VH1 is stupid. I dont think ILNY3 will go ahead if casting doesnt happen September or October. We'll see if that rumor is true, hopefully it is but I dont see VH1 going back to her. VH1 thinks us fans are going to eat up Real & Chance and Lala's show or something when in fact us fans just want what VH1 used to be. Im so sick of these stupid shows VH1 is putting on. When will they learn?

It's been too late for a long time. Back before this whole Ryan debacle Vh1's ratings were already on the decline. Look we will never again see ratings like the FOL days but even at their worst 51 Minds' "trashy Of Love" dating shows creamed anything that is on Vh1 right now in the ratings.

Wasn't New York's mom dating one of the cast members from ILNY2?

No, VH1 thinks we're all on our hands and knees begging and pleading for Fantasia's second season to premiere to see the cheating scandal go down on camera. That news was so a month and a half ago; I don't think anyone cares now.

Off topic, but when you said "too little, too late", that song by Jojo popped in my head.

Well.. idk if they are still together, which will seem pretty awkward. But she did take him out on a date after his elimination in the first episode.

If I recall correctly, his name was Champion. I remember after the finale of I Love New York 2 everyone thought Sister Patterson would be getting a dating show. Now wouldn't THAT be an interesting "Of Love" show!
feedthehobgoblin#58
I feel like they should bring back the ILNY series and make a 3rd one. For me the best love shows in Vh1 were easily I Love New York and Daisy of Love. They were the best entertaining and I think the guys concept is better than girls meaning it is better when there are 20 guys in a house than 20 girls in a house. Runner up behind DOL and ILNY is maybe Flavor of Love.

Plus, if both Daisy of Love and I Love New York come back, it'll beef up the male side for cast options for I Love Money. :]

Yes, Peppermint Patterson was dating/"dating" Champion, who was eliminated on the first episode of ILNY2. She was also hanging out with White Boy from season one. User image User image User image She'd definitely give us an interesting of Love show, and I wouldn't miss a minute of it.

I don't blame her for hanging out with Whiteboy. He is hot, I'd hang with him & that friend of his. Mmmmn.
