Behind the Screen: I Get That a Lot

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I Get That a Lot

Phoenix ·
User image I Get That a Lot is a show where unsuspecting people are tricked by celebrities who've assumed ordinary jobs. Celebs in on the joke include Jessica Simpson, who works at a computer-repair store; Heidi Klum, who serves customers at a pizza shop; and Jeff Probst, who runs a grocery-store cash register. Cute. Is this for a new show? I know he is doing a really depressing one about granting a last wish, but this seems a little too upbeat for that.

It's a new show where celebs do regular jobs and try to maintain their cover. It looks ok! Might DVR it.

I forgot it was on! I am switching now. Pedro is doing nothing for me. Did I miss Probst?

I thought this show would be corny, but it is actually good!
Bacchus#12
I'm enjoying it, but can't wait for Jeff as he is made for a show like this with his dead pan sense of humor.

I thought the show was funny. I thought they all did pretty good. The only one I didn't see was Heidi.

The second go at this is on tonight. I'll probably watch, even though the celeb list is weak and I doubt many of them can pull off the ruse with the same fever as say, Jeff Probst.

Probst was hilarious when he did it! I liked Heidi Klum as well. I mean...how could you not like Heidi Klum? ;)

It's kind of like a special...I think this is only the second episode they've had.

Love this show. Truly LOLing

Probst seems to be talking like he is hosting survivor. He keeps asking all of these questions on the clips I have seen.
Wilderwolf#27
My favorite was Julie Chen. Putting pickles and stuff in their yogurts ahahah. And the gummy bears with that one lady. I couldn't stop laughing.

Met her recently. She is amazingly beautiful and very nice. ( I never thought I would ever be saying that.)

Although I've never met her... I'm with you CM. I think she is a lot smarter than people give her credit. I believe she's branded herself in a manner that has been hugely successful. I dunno if I'd take the same route... but there's def a brain up there.
