Behind the Screen: Harry Potter

The reality TV landscape has never been more crowded or more diverse. From dating shows to competition series to docusoaps, networks and streamers are betting big on unscripted content.

What sets the great shows apart is their ability to create genuine moments — the kind of unscripted drama that no writer's room could manufacture. That's what keeps fans coming back.

I suggest keeping a box of tissues handy. I'm a crier at movies and I have cried watching most of them too.

I think most people who have read the book say that, but I thought it was great (I didn't read the book), and really, they can't put every little detail into the movie. Like a friend of mine was upset because she thought they didn't show enough of the "future," but that seemed like one of the minute details that didn't need stressing on compared to the rest of the movie IMO.

I, of course, love the books and have for quite a while, but I absolutely loved the way it ended. I mean, I feel as if you can't choose to be picky with the smallest details. Just be happy they made them to begin with. Sure, they add in some random stuff, but it's for those that need a little more explaining or just for kicks. You have to remember it was all approved by J.K. Rowling herself. That's why I try not to get picky, but I wasn't disappointed with any of the movies as a whole.

I always say the books are better than the movies, period so the movies themselves I don't judge too harshly. I understand not everything can be fit in so I try to enjoy what they do decide to film. And I totally get the thing about setting story lines up so non readers of the books can understand better. I have to say one thing I really wanted to see was Teddy Lupin in the end, woulda been cool to see him with Tonks' transformation ability.

I saw it again today and this time I actually saw it in 3D. It was obviously just as good, but 3D takes away something for me. I just think of how the glasses annoy me and how they make my eyes hurt the entire time and I can never enjoy it as much. Still good, but I definitely prefer 2D. 3D is overrated.

And more expensive :/ I dislike 3D too, because I wear glasses and it's annoying and sometimes hurts my eyes to have to take off my glasses and wear the 3D ones. It's like paying for for discomfort.

I also wear glasses, so I know what you go through. Plus, 3D doesn't really do much for me and it always gives me a headache. I hope this 3D trend stops soon, even though I know it won't.

I wasn't a fan of Rob's portrayal of Cedric. To be fair, it probably wasn't his fault, but in the movie I felt like Cedric didn't come off very likable at all!
I agree with this statement. I was watching Goblet of Fire today and he really does come off as a ****** at times. I also agree with whoever said the last movie left out/changed a lot. I was disappointed that Harry didn't kill Voldemort in front of everyone like he does in the book, but I understand certain things have to be tweeked for those who don't read the books.

I just finished Order of The Pheonix. I liked it a lot. The first few movies were pretty slow for me. Hopefully this is where they pick up. Tonight we're going to check out Half Blood Prince. It should be interesting.

Good Luck with that. They are pushing 3D technology for computers now. I hate it, but at least the new 3D movies are better to watch in 2D than those really old campy 3D movies where the picture looks blurry if you don't use the glasses--I think I saw an old 3D Jaws movie once that was awful and only really had a couple 3D effects in it. If it wasn't Jaws it was some other underwater thing.

Unfortunately my dog would disapprove. He absolutely hates stuff on him. I'm already being Trelawney for a HP birthday party, which may double as my Halloween costume :D
