Behind the Screen: Gone Too Far: DJ AM - MTV

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I couldn't watch it, I started to cry.

Very sad that when he last saw her, she had relapsed and gone home from rehab. He tried to get her to go back, and she refused. And the look on his face as he left her house... he'd given up hope. And now she's back in rehab, saying "If DJ Adam were here right now, I'd give him a big hug...". I really hope she pulls through this time, so all his time and emotion wasn't for nothing. I can barely type this stuff. This is a really powerful series.

Last night's episode was tough to watch. That girl did an insane amount of heroine, I know its crazy to do heroine at all, but she seemed like she did massive amounts. The hardest part to watch was when she came home from rehab. You could tell that cruched Adam. You can really tell that he deeply cared about these kids he tried to help. I agree with Vrevis this is a very powerful series.
