How come only like half of the cast went to the reunion? And also why was everyone mad at Eric? I always got the impression he was well liked.. I feel very bad for Ev.. i would be very hurt in that situation, and i would definitely not want to talk about it on national tv.
I am just guessing, but the pieces seem to fit!
As for getting the entire 32 members of the cast together, it is all about money and MTV is cheap. I remember Danny saying that for the Real World Austin Reunion he and Melinda were paid $2000 each to show up (plus airfare, hotels, etc) and I am willing to conject that the premium has gone through the roof now that some cast members think they brandish the star power of a Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie.
In the end MTV probably attempted to get those that made it to a certain point in the Challenge (whose price they would meet) and those who are the most entertaining to have on the show (e.g. Coral) because of the finances involved.

I don't know; I seem to remember hearing that cast members are obligated to come to the reunion if they are asked and don't have a reasonable conflict. I don't think it's a matter of throwing more money at them to get them to show up; I think it's already built into their contracts. I could be wrong, though.

She probably doesn't want to do one without Brad, and he's done. I do think that even though there will be another challenge, this is probably the last one for a lot of people we've gotten used to seeing. Sort of the end of an era. I plan to enjoy people like Coral and Brad during the reunion, because it's probably the last we'll see of them for a long while. Unless they're doing this real world awards thingy. But then THAT will be the last we see of them for a long while. Still, plenty of people have said they're done and then returned anyway, like Cara. And Beth mentioned that Mark Long might be contemplating a return. I'm also surprised to see that Frank said he wouldn't do another, because I think he said a few weeks ago on MTV.com that he would.

Man, Abe has some issues. I'm glad MTV is no longer enabling his violent behavior--wish I could say the same for others. It's a shame; he always struck me as very intelligent and thoughtful. I hope he gets some help.
Speaking of which, a lot of the cast members who used to post on MTV.com pretty frequently have stopped, and Beth seems to be the only one posting these days. Frank disappeared even before the technical issues, and Tori, who had been posting every couple of days, hasn't posted since. Anyone know what's up with that? I miss those two in particular--they had a few interesting things to say.I bet that because they are not getting paid, they bored of it quickly and the technical issues just pushed those that were participating over the edge. Does anyone know what Danny did to make the vets so mad? It's amazing that with everything that seems to leak from these challenges, seemingly no one knows any information regarding this situation.

It was like a cast member left the challenge then told all, as the details are deftly accurate. Now that I think about it, the only thing that had not been leaked to this point was the Melinda concussion story and the incident with Danny (which I assume we will see tomorrow night.) Then they go for the hookups, especially if there is video. With that, you have a very full stage. You also have to remember that the challenge is not a big budget show. There is no way Viacom would allow them to bring in a full cast, and what would you do with them, anyway? The studio is about the same size as your average high school classroom, but with a stage, an audience, three cameras and several monitors/crew. As for Danny, I'm not sure that whatever happened was really a big deal. It smells of "hype by edit" to me. Anyway, we will know tomorrow evening. He just strikes me as an alter boy whom the bigger kids pounded into the granite floor once too often when he was growing up.
Beth wasn't included in the reunion show???? That's a first, isn't it? Danny may have just made everyone mad just by being Danny. That kid is wound waaay too tightly, homeboy needs to lighten up!
