They were the first to hook up on Seasons but they stopped because she felt him and Jonna were getting serious.

well guantlet inferno battle of the sexes 2 inferno 2 and gauntlet 2 was the old old school era and the road rules domination era where most of the cast members on those challenges were one timers road rules cast members and real world old old school cast members from new york to austin

while fresh meat duel 1 inferno 3 gauntlet 3 island duel 2 and ruins was the old school era and the fresh meat era where fresh meat became the new dominators of the challenges road rules cast members were somewhat losing there dominations at the challenges and real world was i guess in the middle

althought fresh meat 2 cutthroat rivals battle of the exes battle of the seasons 2 rivals 2 free agents and battle of the exes 2 is the new school era where most of the road rules cast members were not on the challenges anymore fresh meat 1 cast members were somewhat leaving the challenges fresh meat 2 was up and coming and it was like real world strikes backs in finals

i think after battle of the exes 2 a new era in the challenges will begin like maybe cast members from other mtv reality shows will be on the challenges to possible replace most of the old school cast members from real world road rules and fresh meat 1 like are you the one and or maybe other reality shows from the same production will be on the challenges like bad girls club or who knows maybe even cast members from redneck island and broken skull challenge will join the challenges because i heard that jasmine said on a reality tv radio interview that most of cast members of the challenges said that they are not going to return to the challenges because diem and knight died

and who knows the new challenge seasons might be like explosions and skeletons where cast members actully talk to and or with production during there confessions about challenge stuff and or the cast members actully say up front in the cameras on tv that they are in such and such filming a challenge and who knows maybe they might even break the forth wall on camera by saying quoates lines speeches and promos and or do stuff like skits on camera

Back in the day (2004-2008) 6/9 seasons over a 9 season span were either an Inferno or Gauntlet, with Fresh Meat, The Duel, and Battle of the Sexes II being the only non-Infeno or Gauntlet Seasons.

In the last 9 Seasons (2009-2015) we have had ...5/9 that were different. An Individual Challenge (FA), A Two Team Challenge (Ruins), A Three Team Challenge (Cutthroat), a Four Member per team challenge (BOTS), and a Male-Female Partner Challenge (FM2). The only repeats were Rivals and Exes which occured over 6 seasons so there is repetition there but the next challenge most likely will not be Rivals again so we will be looking at 4/7 as repeats.

So there's actually been more variety lately then there was in the past.

I think because from there has been very few variation within the cast itself, like there were in the past challenges, it may seem repetitive. And having the same formats, Rivals and Exes, with basically the same cast, seems more repitive than the three Infernos and Gauntlets that had different cast members mostly. 

There's a huge difference between having a same format on a team challenge and creating themes that limit casting.  

For example, we could use the Cutthroat format constantly and have different ways of splitting up the teams and that's 1000x better than Rivals/Exes

Better is subjective as Rivals 2 was AMAZING.

Eh. It was average IMO. It felt like the same old shit again..especially after the breath of fresh air we got from seasons 2.

Seasons 2 was okay but it shouldn't have been just RW. I feel if they got trishelle and Alton they could've reached for Darrell/Rachel R/Katie/Mallory/Kefla etc.

I dunno. I like Road Rules but I think that having The Road Rules team that was assembled for that season would've messed it up and it goes against what that season was supposed to be.

I have faith this show will see a season 40 lmao it can't ever end. Hopefully, we'll see a second golden era take place soon.

Being old has nothing to do with I disagree with that because the last Challenge we had the old school members is on Free Agents because CT and Aneesa represent that era.  They along with Mark, Coral, Robin, Alton, Darrell, Abram, Rachel, Susie, Brad, Katie, Trishelle, Veronica and Derrick are still relevant to today and some of them have stated they wanted to return back to The Challenge but MTV makes the final call.  Just like Battle of The Seasons 2 there was supposed to be a Team Road Rules that consisted of Derrick, Rachel, Darrell and Katie that would have been a strong team but MTV scrapped them but had Alton and Trishelle appear on there.  I'm all for these current vets like Johnny Bananas, Nany, Theresa, Sarah, Leroy, Cara Maria, Zach, etc. who are on there but they should give it up to the Old School Veterans what I call them the original OG's and do a Challenge to show them that they still got it I'm still all for the Generations Challenge idea I came up with Old School (RW 1-17 and Road Rules) vs. New School (RW 18-30, FM and if they want but don't have too AYTO) see which Generation is the best!  (My $ is on the Old School!) Remember the show was called The Real World/Road Rules Challenge and there would not be a Challenge w/o them who started it all!

Yes I do Coralfan espcially to include our girl Coral on there I'm a fan of hers too and miss her so much on these!

Trashelle is the last person to call anyone a ***** lol I always thought it was hilarious how she got mad at The Miz for making out with Kendall on The Inferno when they weren't even together and when he brought the fact that she made out with five guys in front of him at a bar right after they broke up, she had nothing to say.
