The Future of The Challenge

I absolutely hate the ayto people being on the show idc if they bring ratings or not, because if they bring ratings then more of those people will be on the show.

I have no issue with AYTO people as long as they keep it 2 guys and 2 girls per Challenge anything more would be too much and less would be pointless like Camila , whom I like but we could have done without.

Regulars (Realisitic):

Veterans (sort of): Aneesa, C.T, Bananas, Darrell, Rachel, Abe, Coral and Wes 

Sydney: Cohutta and Isaac

Brooklyn: Sarah

Nola: Knight and Jemmye

Vegas: Dustin and Nany

San Diego: Zach

Portland: Johnny, Jordan, and Nia

EX's: Brian, Jenny, Thomas, and Brian

AYTO: Chris, Adam, Brittney, and Shanley

I dont mind are you the one, unless its half of the cast being from those shows then I will get annoyed.

I don't see them asking Joi or she ever making a final cast, I always forget she was on Portland. There are a better a variety of rookies that production think would bring more to the show than her people from explosion , Real World Chicago or whatever they call it and if they continue asking are you the one a lot of them would bring more than joi based on paper.

I hope challenges actually continue

The show was on the verge of cancellation during Rivals I. Exes almost didn't happen. I don't like the introduction of Are You The One cast members. Maybe it's a one time thing? I don't think the challenge will last to long after this season! 

I would like a solid cast of old school and new school. I'm really in it for competitions. I also like 2 or 3 team challenges. 

Old school: Coral, Mark, Jenn, Dan S, Rachel, Abe and CT. ( even though Jenn's done, I'd like to see her win!)

I would like MTV have a series finale of the challenge, have it announced and see which old schoolers would do it.

Who I'd like to see make their Challenge debut? Ryan L. from NOLA, Bronne from Cancun, Arielle, Jamie, Ashley M., Jenny, and Cory from Exes.

Who should return? Adam R. from Las Vegas (2011), Landon from Philadelphia, Marlon from Portland, LaToya from St. Thomas, and Danny from Austin, possibly Donell from RR: South Pacific to see Abram's reaction.

I'm aware that Adam failed his psychological test, I just need to know if that means he's barred from the show.

I think Nia, Wes, LaToya, Nany, Marlon, Abram, and Sarah should become regulars.

Who I think will go on with the show:

Golden era : CT and Aneesa, at this point I doubt we will see Rachel, Darrell again or someone from that era.

Veterans: Wes, Johnny b,  cohutta, Sarah, Theresa, camila, cara Maria, Emily s.

New era: nany, Zach, jemmye, knight, frank ( I know he said he is done but im sure he will comeback) Jordan, nia, Dustin, Leroy, Jessica, Averey, Johnny R, Cory, Brian, jay, Jonna, 

AYTO: Adam, Chris, shanley, Brittany, Ryan, scali and jacy.

I think they're done with Road rules tbh. We havent had any since Exes and now with the inclusion of AYTO cast it seems like they're trying to weed out RR.

They clearly didn't have to "earn" anything. And Fresh Meat were fans picked up off the streets. AYTO were actually cast members on MTV prior. If anything, I'd say they deserve a shot at The Challenge. And The Challenge is no longer advertised as Real World/Road Rules... it's just an MTV competition show now that's apparently open to all MTV personalities... or a select few, not quite sure about the details on this new casting process. But it does make sense, since AYTO is another type of competition show on the same network. So overall, It's a brilliant idea imo. 

As for regulars I'd like to see...

Exes: All

Because if the challenge continues, the next season is 100% going to include people from Real World Chicago as simple as that like it does 98% of the times. Would they only have two cast members like DC or would they pull a Hollywood that was just represented for 2 seasons of the challenges, who knows?  But some of them are going to be asked and are going to represent their season. Just basing on Social networks it looks like Tony, Nicole and Bruno are into fitness & doing extreme sports. For Jason based on a comment I saw of one of his friends one of the reasons he tried for Real World is for the challenges. So for some reason I don't see them declining when some of them are ask for next season if the challenges continue.

Actually, they were able to find more teams aka Laura/Trey were alternated and Sahar/Eric got calls both of them were open to do it. They just decide to go with the 4 are you the one people because they brought more to their show than Laura/Trey did on their Real World/Challenges and Eric/Sahar did on their real world plus  sadly they have a way stronger fan base than they do. Plus sadly Production doesn't like casting old school especially if they are married with kids that much anymore, if not Rachel/Darrell would have been on this challenge.

For Adam Royers by what i heard by 2 different real world las vegas 2 cast members he was banned from any Viacom related show, he cannot work with them ever again it wasn't just based on the psychological test.

I agree that as time passes Joi chances become more and more Slim but I would still love her to make an appearance.

Okay first off I gotta say LOL @ Fresh Meat Earning their way on the show. They didn't earn a damn thing.  And they NEVER deserved to be on this show.

I hate that AYTO are now  being included. It's infair to all of The actual castmembers. Why didn't they go with Trey/Laura and Eric/Sahar? Because they were boring? Well that right there is BS beacause they cast people who are Boring and/or Useless ALL THE TIME on these shows. Brandon/Jonna/Theresa/Leory//Jasmine..None of them are anymore interesting than Trey/Laura and Eric/Sahar yet they're on every season. I don't buy that at all.

I don't see this show lasting much longer. BMP/MTV trying to appeal to casual viewer's who don't really give a damn about this show hasn't made this show any better. And from here on out I don't know how they're going to keep this show alive considering the audience now is so dumb they can't follow this show if it doesn't have some stupid theme attached to it. This show doesn't lend itself to specific themes like Survivior or Big Brother does. This show is at it's best when they have Formats that allow them to have a wide variety of castmembers to chose from(Battle of the Sexes, Gauntet 2 & 3,)

And I also think that they need to do something about the predictability of this show. I really feel like repetitition is one reason why this show is/has lost a lot of ground.  I mean nowadays it's pretty much a given that Johnny Backpack is going to go to the end and win everytime. What the hell is the point of watching? What is there to care about when you already know the outcome of the season? A stupid theme and some Idiots from another show is not going to cover up the fact that this show is just plain predicable and there is no incentive to watch.

Jenny turned it down because she didnt feel comfortable being partnered with her ex and doing sexualized challenged becuase she doesnt want to ruin her relationship with Brian. She said she would definetly be on a Free Agents type of challenge.

Most fans don't know them, a challenge fan page on instagram posted a picture of them for possible exes 2 and everyone there thought Eric was Nick brown and thought Sahar was a Sarah misspelled.

Jenny said on youtube that she will definitely do a challenge, but she refused to do Exes because they wanted to pair her with Cory which she saw as disrepectful to her current relationship with Brian. I see her becoming a regular once she debuts.

Fresh Meat earned to be on the Challenge by what they experienced on their show. I didn't mean they earned their right onto FM.

Jenny also declined because she was trying to work on things between her and Brian.

I'm just saying, nobody knows whether Chicago will give off new castmembers for any Challenges in the future. They could be like Hollywood and D.C by giving out a few players, but no one really knows until the next season when Chicago is elligible to play.

Either way about AYTO, even if they're apart of the same network, people from RW, RR, and FM were always brought out to play. It no longer looks fair. Lets bring out people from other MTV shows and let them play on the Challenges.

You guys all make great points as to why the show has gotten stale.

In my opinion the main factor is that they only do one show per year and that puts a limit on who they can cast.  It also hasn't helped that they keep repeating formats that limit the pool they can pick from i.e Rivals and Exes.  What they need to do is go back to the large team formats where they can easily cycle in newer players along with the fan favorite veterans.

Yes They are. None of them have done anything that translated into entertaining or exciting TV. Same goes for Leroy and Brandon. NONE of them are interesting. So why do they keep coming back yet Trey/Laura and Eric/Sahar get the shaft? And as far as people not being familiar with Eric/Sahar..Well who's fault is that? THEIRS!. They can easily go watch their season online. I'm pretty sure MTV.Com have it(If not I'm pretty sure it's available to watch elsewhere online).

So I still stand by that Boring Excuse Being BS.
