Duel 2 Ratings

Someone at tvbythenumbers stated that episode 2 was #1 in the 12-18 demo.

Hopefully that is true. That would be a big step up!

That would be me restating what B had posted here from an MTV release. I was hoping a reply with the rating for the period ending April 19. The challenges have never been of much interest to the guy who runs that site.

The 12-18 demo, lol. Sure it is something, but not what they are really lookng for as far a a demo victory. I am sure before this season is over MTV will be spinning the 6-13.5 female, mixed race born on odd days in February (but not in leap year) demo. (I'm cynical by nature.)

I asked about this number today and was told that it is the 18-54 demographic. It only includes one year of the prime RW market, 12-18.

It just kind of sucks to see a good challenge get bad ratings. Did Gauntlet 3 do well?

I just checked tvbythenumbers.com and they finally put up the numbers. Only to see dissappointing number of = 1,587 million viewers. :(

The ratings are down overall because BMP AND MTV don't get it. BMP is lazy with casting and story telling and MTV doesn't hold their feet to the fire for it. Whoever is responsible for Evan telling every confessional should be the first person out of a job for starters. The mere sight of him makes me change the channel.

He honestly has not been bothering me the last couple of episodes. Honestly. The first two episodes I was like okay Evan, enough. Its not as bad as it used to be but I agree, others should get more air time. He just doesn't bother me on this challenge like he did on G3.

Gasp!! Weren't you on the old Tubescan board? I think that was the name of it.... On topic....I agree, im tired of seeing "Evan's view" or every single situation that happens. It's bad enough they got him doing those cheesy commercials. I think the rating are down not only because, IMO, this season is kinda bland, but because the editors suck at making suspenseful episodes. They had tons of material to work with on the Gauntlet 3, but they messed that one up too.
