Behind the Screen: The Duel 2: Episode 7 - Discussion

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I am so ready for this to start Everytime I watch this opening it is funnier and funnier. I swear to god if Paula says "I don't care" one more time I will lose my mind...

TDMEL52#5
I kinda sympathize for Dunbar :( why, he is a steriod idiot.

LOL @ Mark's "sneaky game plan" Those screams sounded soooooo fake coming from the girls
chiku#7
Its kinda hard watching this when your so mad after a person winning you didnt want.
janel6#8
Dunbar should've picked Kim and let Paula prove herself in a duel.

Dunbar does steroids?
janel6#12
Evan is so dramatic.
TDMEL52#13
Have you seen in his season roid rage, He can explode in a minute.

I dont think he is, (That was very hard to say) this challenge looks hard.
RW561015#15
Yes Landon! I would have thought it was cool if Brad won as well.
janel6#16
That doesn't mean he's taking steroids and seeing how he hasn't exploded since then why would you assume he's taking steroids.
TDMEL52#17
he is off it now. probably

But Paula picking Dunbar has kept him there for a long time. She did take care of him for a good while, and I think it was good of him to pick her because of it.

**** Rachel.
RW561015#20
I guess go Brit since she's Landon's partner. But I wouldn't mind Rachel winning. And I don't think this one mission is indicative of Tori competitiveness, because she's proved herself before. Just about everyone has a not so great mission every now and then, even Rachel herself. This one sounds tough and I don't think I like it so much based on the way the competitors are describing it.

Lol, Diem is soo funny!

STFU Rachel.
Not a Rachel fan? (I'm still learning who everyone likes and dislikes, humor me...)

Unless you have proof, you are out of line. Truth is about the only trustworthy defense against libel.
chiku#24
Lets see if Ruthies "Mark does all the winning for Rachel" is correct... After the commercial break. :(
TDMEL52#25
I have a feeling someone is going to call out Tori tonight for the duel.
RW561015#26
Good job Brittini! I'm glad she had a good showing by herself. But I don't agree with Landon's assessment of her as the strongest girl in the house just based on this mission. Landon and Brit's deliberation shouldn't be so hard since they always pick Rachel and Mark, and this time they just switched to Brad, a person they were trying to protect anyway. And they stopped doing the list last episode (L and B).
TDMEL52#27
We look at baeball players and we can see that they did steriods, based on the facts of Dunbar's personality it could appear that he did roids.
chiku#28
WOW! Ruthie is right with her statement. And wow a rookie at the top! Never thought this would happen.

Yea i know but no that i see how she treats him, i think it would be pretty funny to see her get so pissed off if he did chose Kim. You can't treat people anyway you want and expect them to always have your back.

Your opinion is firmly grounded in quicksand. There are many noted studies on personality development what affirm that Dunbar's personality type was largely fixed in concrete well over a decade ago. http://psychology.about.com/od/theoriesofpersonality/Theories_of_Personality_Development.htm

okay, I can understand your opinion.
