Behind the Screen: Disaster Date

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I am watching as well. To me, its just another version of those lame cheap shows like Parental Control/Next. Why does MTV insist on bringing more of these shows to our TV sets? :dash1:

I've watched this a couple of times. It's entertaining, and sometimes funny, and many times awkward, but there was this one guy who was set up by his best friend, who had set HIM up on an earlier episode. How could he not realize he was getting payback?? I miss Blind Date. That was a funny show.

I really like this show actually I wish it was on more. The situations and actors were great and it seemed. . . dare i say it, unscripted?
