Behind the Screen: Devil (2010)

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I watched it yesterday and I thought it was a very good movie, it had me guessing who was the "one" the whole movie till the end...

SpoilerThe guy in the hoodie. The one who is the last one to get on the elevator is the victim and the old woman is the devil. The lights keep going on and off throughout the movie and they begin dieing one by one. The old woman comes back to life and asks him if he's ready for hell. The girl who got bit earlier in the movie is barely alive and Tony asks the devil to take him instead of both of them. So the devil gets mad and drops the elevator. Tony confesses to being the one to kill one of the security guards family in a hit and run. The elevator door opens and he's the only one in the elevator. In other words, the only person who was ever in the elevator was the guy in the hoodie the whole time. It was the devil's way of testing him about confessing to killing someone.
Hopefully, people don't accidentally scroll over this who don't wanna know. If it is deemed fit I'll remove it and send it privately to RealityToast.

Spoiler Um, the other people WERE still in the elevator. They were dead, but still there. He hit the detectives family, not a security guard

Great film. If you aren't too jumpy, I think you should see this. It will keep you guessing until the very end.

I don't want to be spoiled but is there another horrid M. Night Shaylaman ending? Endings like Signs, were it goes from decent to just crap. He's known for that.

There is a bit of a twist... it really isn't that much of a shock though. I think I liked this more than some of his other films.

I agree. Im a BIG horror movie critic, and I went into this expecting the worst(The Happening, Lady in the Water, The Last Airbender....), but I was pleasantly surprised. Easily his best movie since Sign and The Sixth Sense. I also agree that it will keep you guessing til the very end. Its not so much as scary, as it is suspenseful.

But still wrong :).
Spoiler You said that it was all a test for the last guy, but it wasn't.

Saw this movie last nite. It was good.

Saw it tonight. Went from good to bad. I shook my head at the head, M. Night Shal. always knows how to kill it. Signs went from excellent to average because of the ****** twist. The Village and the Happening is just another example. ENOUGH WITH THE HORRID TWISTS IN EVERY MOVIE! Such a dumb ending.
