Behind the Screen: The Dark Knight

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Well I am back from the promise land! lol Finally I got check out the movie I've been waiting for and let me tell you it certainly didn't disappoint. Heath was GREAT as the Joker, he really captured the character perfectly, insane yet brilliant. It was nice to throw in Dent as well. It is definitely one of better movies I've seen in a while and Heath will be sorely missed as he truely was a great actor...this role proves it. Okay let me stop rambling...I'm in post movie glow lol

Wow. WOW. I'm post movie glow too GW!! That movie was indescribably awesome. So dark, so creepy, lots of action and it was loooong but I wasn't bored once. Heath should get an Oscar for capturing such a sociopathic crazyman, and for making me almost pee my pants. I've gotta see it one more time while it's still in the theater. And Aaron Eckhart is amazing too!!!
Spoiler It's too bad they won't be able to bring back him or his character in the next one.

I know! He was just so good in that role. I like Christian Bale too but his Batman voice sounds like someone who has smoked too much...aka Katie Doyle. lol jk It was a loooonnggg movie but it captured my interest the whole way out. And it was fast paced at times but yet still told the story.
SpoilerToo bad the Harvey Dent character can't come back since ya know...he's dead...lol But I agree OPD and anyone they bring in to be Joker if they do bring back that character someday it just won't be the same

It definitely won't be the same even if the next actor does a good job you know? I loved the movie and I hope they continue with this too into another great film.

I went and saw it last night finally! What a great movie, every actor in the film did their part to make it what it is. I didn't really like Maggie Gyllenhall(sp) as The new Rachel Dawes, I guess they took care of it for me. So I think they left it open ended with what will happen next, it will be very dark, looks like it's time for the Penguin!

Hey LM you are now as cool as we are! haha I would like to see more of the classic villains in future movies and maybe even some new ones thrown in down the road. They did an fantastic job with this movie and I hope the trend continues.

' Agreed! I was never into movie's born from comic books until I met my husband, now i can't wait for them to come out! Have you seen Batman Begins? The next movie in this series will have a lot to live up to! Aaron Eckhardt did do an amazing job, and they left his ending open too! I wouldn't be surprised if we saw two face in the next one! (but please dont make it like XM3)

lol I've been into them for a while. Honestly I have seen every Batman movie since "Batman" and they sort of soured near the end so it's nice to see a new strand of movies that are better. The next one will have alot to live up to indeed. I think they have ways of bringing anyone back but I don't want it to be thrown together...I want it to be done right.

Yea youre right, it started to get a little cheesy but this one put it all back on track. The cast had a lot to do with it as well!

Is the movie appropriate for a 6 year old? My son wants to see it, but Batman always has some parts or characters that are scary to me, so I'm not sure if I should take my son to watch it.

I'd say probably not... The joker is pretty disturbing... You could go see it without him and see if you think it's appropriate and then take him if it is...

Yeah I agree, the joker is kind of on the psycho side! But he is the only character close to being scary for your child. Oh and don't forget about "Two-face"! Even though they only show about 3-5minutes worth of his jacked up face, it can also be a little disturbing..lol~

Yeah both those characters were done so well and Joker is very very disturbing but fun to watch as well! I agree with KT you should check i out and then see if you wanna take him.
