Behind the Screen: Dallas Cowboy's Cheerleaders: Making the Team 2

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I watched this again this week...

Dallas Cowboy's Cheerleaders: Making the Team 2

Does anyone watch this? The only show I have ever tuned to on CMT. I actually sat down and watched a marathon last year and found it interesting. I wasn't planing on watching this year, but once again ran into a mini-marathon and ended up watching the first series of episodes. This is really a guilty pleasure. Nothing like watching drop dead gorgeous woman being driven to tears because her body fat level is at 13.3% and she is going to get cut for "not fitting the uniform." The DCC are surely the "Navy Seals" of cheerleading! -- that and an iconic piece of sexist Americana that is a holdover from 1963.

I watched this again this week. I am addicted. I even watched, "I want to look like a high school cheerleader, again" which is also on CMT after DCC! My computer was down for the count. I had to watch something!

Hey, I watched it and as someone that is working on losing weight, I really enjoyed it.

I have caught the show on and off. No idea what seasons I have seen. The coach lady is scarrrry. But I find it enjoyable. One of my good friends from high school became a Bears cheerleader and she always told me they got on them about their weight. I couldn't believe it, as she is like five two and fairly tiny, but now I see how tough the world of competive cheerleading is!

I don't usually watch weight loss shows, but this one just caught my attention as the trainer Jay (from DCC) is awesome and I think it will be interesting to see these gals get into shape and actually look like they did way back when. Saturdays are dead, so I'll probably keep watching it if they are going to continue to have it following those hot chicks of the DCC :) P.S. I bet the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders are crying their little eyes out with their boys tonight...muhauhahaha!

The Cowboys/Patriots game was actually a really good game though. They were both undefeated going in, correct?? I'm not much of a football person AT ALL but I watched it with my dad and we had a lot of fun. When people from neither city can really enjoy a game, that's when ya know it was a good one. :)

I was really disapointed that they cut Megan from the team this week being that it is so late in the game. I was also pulling for her last year when she got cut. It is obvious that she is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she is a really nice girl who tries really hard and you just want to see her succeed. Skydiving next episode looks fun!
