I don't know about that. I thought she was pretty underwhelming on Cutthroat. She wasn't doing anything on the 2nd hanging upside down mission and if she gave her best in the bed jumping one, then that's not even remotely good.

^Based on what Brad said but who on the red team was doing anything? Go rewatch Gauntlet 3 she was the 2nd best female athletically on that one. And she gave a good fight against Emily, who is a beast, in her Gulag.

I love Melinda, and I agree, I think she can win. I really hope she'll do another challenge... has she ever stated if she would?

What show were you watching? Melinda was easily at the bottom next to Angel. Tori and Jillian were easily the best. No one even came close to those two. Next in line would have been Johanna, Janelle, then Rachel.

Yeah Melinda really didn't stand out in any capacity on G3 or Cut Throat. There's only a handful of people on these shows I'd consider her superior to athletically.

I agree. Umm, didn't she get a concussion in the Gauntlet 3? I never saw her as a strong competitor.

I'm not sure how exactly but Evelyn on her blog, during the airing of G3 stated that Jill, Melinda and Tori were the biggest female threats on the Rookie team, which is why they decided to throw Melinda into the Gauntlet.

HAHA if Anyone thought that Melinda was weaker than Brooke, Rachel, Angel or Johanna on G3 they obviously didnt watch the show. Melinda was always the 2nd best female on the Rookie team in like every challenge. Why would the Veterans throw in Melinda if they thought she was weak? Duh cause they knew that she would pick Jill, she wouldnt pick her best friends Jo, Rachel or Tori. In hindside the Rookies were idiots and put in Tori against Melinda, which were their best athletes on the team. Yes Melinda hit her head on G3 but someone wacked her with a board, not because she is uncoordinated. It seems as though many of you have forgotten about G3 I suggest you guys go rewatch it before you make comments about how it went down. :)

They threw in Melinda because they wanted to get rid of Jillian. Melinda is bigger than her, so the assumed she'd stand a chance, but really, Melinda has zero athletic abilities. Glad you know what Evelyn was thinking at the time she wrote the blog, but unfortunately, that's not what she said. Somebody else replied to her putting down Melinda's abilities and again, she defended for a second time that Melinda, Jillian and Tori were the strongest girls on the Rookies team and getting any two of them in the rotation was their goal at the time.

Melinda definately didn't stand out IN MY OPINION on G3 or Cut Throat. From what i've heard, the others didn't think she did either. Are you friends with her or something?

One need not be a friend of Melinda in order to believe she is more capable than some here would have one believe. Investing in Evelyn's opinion of someone is sufficient for me to reach that conclusion.

I've always liked her, but I think she was my favorite cast member this season (along with Emily). She was always positive about the challenges and her cast members, seemed to speak sensibly and most importantly wasnt involved in any of the bull****e drama.

Her along with casey and johanna are the hottest girls in challenge history for sure.
