Behind the Screen: College Basketball

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

They also get ratings from people like Help Desk who love to hate Notre Dame. It is the same thing as the Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers, and Duke Basketball. Not only do they have a good amount of fans, but they have people who love to hate them. A viewer is a viewer, regardless if they are a fan of the team.

NC State finally beat UNC. That was a depressing 5 years... Duke and UNC in the same month. Might as well call it a winning year and cancel the rest of the season.

Most other years that logic would work, but not this one. Miami is 10-0 in the ACC and now ranked #3. That includes wiping the floor with Duke and UNC, and a last-second buzzer beater over State. I hate to say it, but if NC State continues with this recent downturn (they just barely beat Clemson on Sunday), they may not even make the tournament. Right now they are middle-of-the-pack in a relatively down year for the ACC.

They don't get ratings from me. And lately, they have received way more notoriety than actual number ratings, thanks to Manti Teo.

Syracuse ruined my bracket

I have no favorites in the tournament, so I'm rooting for molds13's team -- Go Michigan!

I had a Duke/Michigan final in my bracket and felt great about that for a bit. Not so much now, obviously. Did anyone else see the up-close picture of the Kevin Ware injury? I was avoiding it and then I saw it by accident and really wish I hadn't. I still feel nauseous.
