Behind the Screen: Cloverfield

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I agree ........ this was one of the best movies I've ever SEEN. And I would see it again and again and it'd probably still be exciting!! Did you hear through internet rumors that they are in talks for a sequal? I'll do some searching and come back when I find a source...

that was my initial reaction to it, but i'm going to watch it again to give it another chance. sometimes my view on a movie changes once i see it a second time. you will not be disappointed with gone baby gone. i don't say this often, but it is truely one of the better movies i've seen in years. you'll be talking for days after about it. enjoy!

Gone Baby Gone is an excellent movie. I love Casey Affleck in his brother's film. Not a Ben fan but love his brother. Boston was an important character in this movie, loved the native scenes. Wonderful movie, truly.

I have GBG at home, via Netflix! I'll watch it this week, hopefully! Glad to hear the good things. and YES i did hear about a possible Cloverfield sequel...but that scares me. I think it should be left as is. Someone mentioned that theres ANOTHER guy on the Brooklyn bridge filming that we see during the movie....and that THAT might be the sequel. Kinda cool idea, but still.

Hmmm, see I need to find the source where I read this a few weeks ago. That the poss sequel to Cloverfield is more of the same from the first as far as the hand-held camera goes, but it's supposed to be all still shots of scientists in a lab or something like that, talking about and researching what happened w/ the monster, what it was all that stuff in the aftermath of the attack.... Either way, speculation is fun because I loved this movie! *keeps on searching for that source*

True true...I have a sick curiousity as much as anyone...but NOT KNOWING is what made it scary!! LoL @ for real that's what it'd be like in real-life. Can you see a monster attack in this day and age?? Everyone would be on the internet talking to eachother about it trying to figure it out! ;) (we'd all be on Vevmo saying "Bacchus what is it!!!?? We want answers!! ")

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'd totally be asking Bacchus like 2308423948 questions, like he knows or something. And he'd probably just stare at me like a deer in headlights haha
