Behind the Screen: The Challenge: What Ifs

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Hahahahahaha I was thinking the same thing.

Abstract you're literally the only person taking this seriously. I've been playing you like a flute for the past 5 hours.

So that means I take the show seriously? Lmao I honestly want the show to be cancelled at this point because like I said, I USED to take the show seriously but I don't like what it's become. Unlike a lot of people here though, I know that this is a "REALITY" show, I can separate truth from fiction.

It looks like despite being so vocal about disliking this site and its policies, someone couldn't help themselves and made another account just to annoy other users. This exchange is over so you guys don't need to worry about it being dragged out anymore.

Hahaha so that kid has made accounts here before? Bless his little heart. BACK ON TOPIC: What if... Wes beat Cohutta on The Ruins? And then of course they would've sent him in again, what if he beat Dunbar as well? That would make the final Champs team JEKD, Susie, Syrus, and Wes. I imagine Syrus would get to slide by since they never would've used him as a scapegoat if Wes didn't lose.

I don't think Syrus would have slid to the end as much as they don't like Wes they know that Syrus would be a liability and wanna throw him in. Dunbar would probably beat him and then Wes would beat Dunbar.

That's true. They'd give Wes another day off lol. What if Bananas LOST against Dunbar? That would've been pretty sweet.

Shouldn't JEKD actually be JEKDD since both Derrick and Darrell were part of JEK's main alliance that season?

Yeah but I think he/she took out Darrell and Brad from both teams because they fought.

The big question would then be who would have gone into the final Ruins out of Derrick, Evan, and Kenny if Dunbar had managed to eliminate Johnny.
toenails#223
Probably Derrick. I don't think Kenny or Evan would ever volunteer. Although there would be a good incentive to, since Dunbar would then have all of Johnny's money in his bank account.
JL81790#224
Part of me thinks that Evan would've done it. Part of me wishes he had done it to begin with instead of Johnny because, even though Johnny did a great job, I've always wanted to see Evan in something physical. The Ruins was back when he was in great shape and was the best guy on the Champion's team along with Darrell. Evan and Dunbar stack up size wise but Evan is 10x he athlete Dunbar is...so I would've had no doubt Evan would've won. You get chancy if you put Derrick or Kenny in. Derrick would've lost in a size/weight thing, and even though Kenny could've mopped the floor with Dunbar in any kind of endurance/strength thing it would be risky because anything based on agility/coordination would be a toss up. Evan would be a guaranteed win.
toenails#225
Evan truly played an absolutely flawless game on The Ruins. He was only eligible for the Ruins 3 times, once when his team lost and he knew Adam King wouldn't pick him, and the other two times Wes and Darrell were volunteering. He was able to control everything behind the scenes and avoid all of the drama.
EstimatedRoa#226
Pretty sure Evan wasn't going in vs Dunbar if Johnny lost. Pretty sure it would Derrick going in vs Dunbar.

That's not saying much when it comes to that particular challenge.

You still have to give him credit for it Susie & Evan had everything on lockdown Johanna, Kenny & Derrick were along for the ride and Johnny was the pawn Evan did f-up once though...the Veronica vote was a mistake Susie played the flawless game...for the second time

Darrell would back Veronica up and wasn't forth going to all of their plans so I don't think so.

He was definitely on their side with the whole crusade against Wes though.

What if Aneesa/Robin beat Paula/Ev and sent them home on Rivals 1?

No. I don't have to give him credit for ****. He's a non-castmember and he(and his ******* buddies) made that season unwatchable. And LOL @ Susie playing a flawless game. Again in that particular season that's not saying much.

What is a non-castmember? Wasn't he, er, cast to appear on this show?

Debut Album believes the Fresh Meat and Camila, despite being legitimate cast members on the show, do not count as "actual cast members" because they weren't on The Real World or Road Rules...

What is Dunbar's height and weight? If Johnny had lost to him on The Ruins would Derrick be willing to take him on?

He looked to be Tyrie's height based on when they would stand next to each other on Rivals 2 and Tyrie isn't that tall. Dunbar is about 5'10-5'11 max. Bananas is 5'9. Dunbar just had more mass (not necessarily muscle) than Bananas. Plus Dunbar has a ****** head.
