Yeah I warmed up to Tyler during Cutthroat after years of thinking he was one of the worst RW/RR cast members, and now this season just reminded me why I couldn't stand him so much before.

Leroy was dead on, both Tyler and Johnny were plain scared to face CT. They may deny it on aftershows/twitter/etc, but it is obvious to anyone. Remember when CT/Adam went in against Evan/Nehemiah and CT said they all were scared and Johnny, as far away as possible, said no one was afraid of him? Where is that tough talk now?

I can't see much difference between Cutthroat Tyler and Rivals Tyler. He acted like this when he was thrown in against Derrick. I think it just didn't get as much airtime because Paula was having a mental breakdown at the time.

I can see why Johnny would be scared to have a rematch with CT after he was chowed down and spit out by him on Cutthroat but I don't get why Tyler was acting THAT scared. If anything, his showdown with CT on Cutthroat should've given him an immense amount of confidence that he can hang with CT in anything where weight and strength are a factor. And like Johnny tried to tell him, if it's anything weight/strength related against CT and Adam, Tyler can at least negate CT long enough to where Johnny can scrap Adam. Their team actually has the advantage there, so I don't get his panic attack. Other than that, I really have nothing remotely bad to say about the guy as a castmember other than he can try and put some damn pants on every once in awhile.

I didnt think the reaction was that crazy. Yeah, he was probably scared of CT, but let's not forget that this is the last elimination round as well. We've seen people in other challenges, act out when they have to go in right before the final. Actually, we saw this last week with the way Cara Maria was acting after she realized she would have to go in. Tyler's reaction was the same, and when you add the fact that he's going up against CT, it makes sense that his reaction was more extreme than usual.

His little ignorant "yo, yo, yo" towards Leroy, was not cool.

People who freak out about going into eliminations are not scared, its just the usual. Evan was freaking startled about going agaisnt schlubs like Davis and Derek... its more of an elimination thing, than a CT thing. Also to be fair Tyler and Johnny performed WAYYYYYY better than Kenny and Wes and were not justified in that way. Looking at the past most challengers do not like going in, no matter who they have to face, and especially at the end.

I think it's a combo of CT and the fear of going home. Johnny must be psyched out as hell after Cutthroat. Tyler knows how strong he is. They probably would rather face any other guy, and since he's with Adam, that gives them some hope. Not an insult on Adam, just from their point of view, they said it themselves on the show. CT is the most intimidating guy there. Every guy has mentioned it at some point, except Kenny but he never compliments any guy

Johnny said to CT in the fight at the bar, "you beat up on a gay kid"....do you think Tyler took offense to that? I feel that he would bc Johnny is implying that all gay men are weaklings, which is def. not the case for Tyler

Yeah but this is the same Tyler who groaned and moaned that Brad didn't have to go into one while he said that he was gonna earn it and WASN'T afraid of elimination. Now the shoe was on the other foot and he's going nuts.

It's the CT effect- everyone ****s their pants when they have to step into an elimination with the guy I think Tyler had a completely different reaction this time because the circumstances were radically different. In cutthroat they were recycling the gulags and everyone had a feeling pole me over was the last one. Derrick is a great competitor, but Tyler would have to completely choke or pull a muscle to lose to someone he outweighs by 50 pounds. Tyler knew his odds of beating derrick were pretty good, hence his confident statement. However, the uncertainty of the elimination round coupled with the fact that he had to face a monster probably drove him up the wall. Even though he did a solid job against him last time, all these competitors know what CT is capable of and these two saw first hand what it was like. Unlike cutthroat, this time the odds weren't completely skewed in his favor to win

So tired of Tyler now. He was cool last season, not so much this one

Am I the only one who thinks that Tyler is kinda hot this season? On Cutthroat I wasn't feeling him at all.

Well this is a different case, because he and Brad performed the exactly the same because they were on the same team, they all lost, so why should they not all go in. In this challenge him and Johnny have performed the best out of the males, and with an oppurtunity for the weaker team to go in, they are both working together, and because of their 1 win and 4 dq's, as compared to Tyler and John's 3 wins and NO dq's, it would seem fair for Wes and Kenny to go in.

He was ready and willing to throw in his closest team in the alliance a third time just so he wouldn't have to go in. Tyler is similar size to CT, i don't think he's "afraid", its the wrong term, I'd say nervous. Also Tyler is more angry about going in, as opposed to who he is going in against. In my opionin that is.

Heres the difference...... Brad and Tyler were on the same team, similar standing, and had performed equally (losing 7 times) going into eliminations was JUSTIFIED, since they continued to lose, and if I was TYler I would look at Brad and ask " What have you done to deserve this immunity, you have not outshined me." Also going against Derrick is no picnic, the dude has sent home more people than CT, and could actually string together multiple challenge wins(unlike Ct) In this challenge Tyler and Johnny have performed the best out of the male teams (3 wins no dqs) and Kenny and his partner have perform the worse out of the remaining male teams (1 win, 4 dqs). Clearly if one team has EARNED anything it was them. Also in the previous eliminations that Kenny's team went into, were due to their team dq's, its not like him and Johnny previously conspired to put them in.

True his bantering on Cutthroat made him look like a whiner. But to be fair Paula was going in either way on Cutthroat, and he was sticking to his philosphy in that game. In this game he has a partner with a different philosphy, and he always helped Paula out whenever possible(via order, and votes). ALso I don't get the vibe of fear, it is just anger about going in, when in his mind he did not deserve to go. Evan was acting like this on the Duel when going in against Davis, Nehimiah and Derrick....... I would never say Evan was scared, he just didnt want to go in. IF Tyler is scared, then he deserves to go home, don't come here to be scared of one guy.

I agree, I don't think he's actually afraid he'll lose to CT or anything, I think he's just taking it completely personally. For some reason some of these kids (or a lot of them) see getting voted into the elimination as a direct insult on them as a person or something, and then get all bent out of shape about it. Tyler can talk a good game about "strategy" and "game decisions" and who should logically go in, but the second he gets voted in for those same rational reasons, he just loses his head and feels like his friends deliberately betrayed him and spit on his honour or something. He needs to chill and get his head in the game, not get so pointlessly emotional.

I do think Tyler is scared of CT despite Tyler being almost his size...I also think he is mad for being voted in.

Him and Johnny are scared ****less, why else were they so pissed that they got voted in when the vote was only between two teams. No other team whined that much when they were voted in and it's at the end of the game so wtf do they expect? They wouldnt be *****ing and complaining if they were going in against Davis/Tyrie instead of CT/Adam.

Kenny & Wes had to go against the two worst teams in their Jungles, and it's not like they were voted in, the only reason they went in is because of their horrible performances. Johnny & Tyler have won 3 challenges, and have always been near the top for the other challenges. I think Johnny & Tyler earned their spots in the final more than Kenny & Wes and Mike & Leroy, we'll see if they can take out CT & Adam or not..

Tyler, along with Kenny & Paula, will be on Derrick's next Podcast.

Yeah but the rules were they had to vote who they wanted to go in and people wanted to stay loyal to their friends, and that's part of the game if you dont have people who have your back then that's your own fault. Hell CT deserves to be in the finals more than anyone but they haven't left him alone since day 1. Like he was mad at Mike and Leroy for voting for him, like seriously? Mike/Leroy have no loyalty to him and If they didn't win they would have gone in and there would be no discussion.

Johnny&Tyler and CT&Adam have been the top 2 best performing teams. Neither of them deserved to be in the next elimination, but CT DQed. Johnny performed better than Wes on that last challenge as well. Kenny & Wes have been performing horribly since day 1, so if it was based on who did the most to get to the final, then yes, Johnny&Tyler are justified in their anger that they were voted in and not Kenny&Wes. I think Johnny&Tyler are both a bit scared, as anyone would be going against CT. I mean, Johnny& Tyler have won 3 challenges, and now have to face the biggest, strongest person in the Jungle. Kenny&Wes lost a ton of challenges, won one, and beat Davis&Tyrie and Ty&Brandon. I mean honestly, who did more to get to the final? I'm saying that THAT'S what they're angry about.

Why are they "scared", all challengers get nerves before an elimination. AlsoTyler went against CT, and knows how to handle him, CT did not beat him. In the episode Tyler acknowledges he could contain him. He is not "scared"...and certainley not "scared ****less" whatever that means. The difference from other teams is THEY PERFORMED THE BEST!, and have no reason to go in. Kennys team performed the worse (of the remaing male teams), so if they were under the assumption(regardless if Kenny and Wes had said this or not) that things would be conducted in a more fair manner, then they have every right to be pissed. Also they outperformed CT and Adam so far, so in theory,why would they fear the worse team?

Yeah and if they were gonna make it fair, they wouldn't force their cronies to put him first every day. Johnny/Tyler only won when they went last. They wouldn't have won Sawed Off had they gone first. You also have to keep in mind that Johnny/Tyler would have been going up against CT/Adam OR Mike/Leroy in Rail Slide had Evan not decided to "be nice" and volunteer to go against CT.

True this squad has had that advantage, but at least they capitalized on it.The order and the politics around it are part of the game. Ct and Adam had control of the order as well, so they benefited from it in previosu challenges. Also Johnny and Tyler had a better time in Sawed off indiviually, so they would of been jipped if they lost because the other teams dqed. ALso they don't show the exact times, but I thought Leeroy and Mike finished second last in the mission precceding sawed of. Johnny and Tyler did really well on the swimming portion and made up time , it seemed they were around the 33 second mark. We have no idea about Miek and Leeroys exact time, but it seems to be slow(considering Leeroys previosu swimming ability, I wouldn't be surprised if they finished 4th in that challenge.

No body cares about fair, they're playing a game and it's in the hands of the other teams. The other teams voted them in, it's that simple, he needs to handle it, the fact that he went nuts on people that have no loyalty to him shows he's scared, they wouldnt put in Leroy because it would be the fair thing to do, they were going to put him in because he's not in the alliance. And it was between 2 teams that's not the same thing as what was happening on the ruins, on the ruins they wanted to send him in every time, so yeah I would throw missions too because he was going in every time, if he could pull it off he would make more money and they all havent seen him since the duel and him and Kenny had their feud and JEK used that as the reason to not like him and they used him as the scapegoat. And CT and ADAM deserve it the most because they have performed well and theres no denying that CT is the best guy there. And Wes didnt say he wants to take him out, he already admitted CT is the best. At the end of the day nobody cares about fair, its all about who has whos back and getting to the finals any way possible and it all works out in the end because if a team really does suck then they wont win any money in the end.
