The Challenge: Rivals - Jasmine Reynaud

Jasmine is annoying. I understand her trying to step in for Jonna, but it honestly looked more like an attempt for camera time than anything else. I agree with her acting fake tough as well. If any of these people were as tough as they say they are outside the show, they wouldn't hesitate to prove it by getting physical IE. Ct, Jenn, Tina. I would include Adam R. but his "toughness" is just stupidity. What point was Jasmine trying to make in regards to the fact that she's from Houston? I would have been like "Um big deal." Honestly, if you're not from LA, NY, Boston, or St. Louis, you're town is probably not that rough. I know that a town doesnt mean anything, but everyone knows what the rough areas of the country are and Houston definitely would not be intimidating to me. I would even toss Chicago a bone and say that would be more of a rough town than most cities.

I don't understand associating toughness with cities. I'm from Atlanta and I'm pretty sure there are hundreds out of millions of people in LA, NY, Boston and St. Louis that I could best.

Agreed. Saying she's from Houston doesn't mean anything. If she said Detroit or some rough city, that'd make more sense but she just looked stupid.

No I know that's true. But using a city you're from to intimidate people is silly. Especially when the city isn't necessarily associated with being rough. Do you know what I mean? And yes, I forgot to add Detroit to that list. Haha.

Can I just say that after last night's episode, Jasmine is one of my favorite people ever? Yeppp.

OMG Just saw the episode and Jaz is a bit TOO much. Def fake for the cameras just like when she would blow up on her season of RW Cancun...annoying. And ew Houston is NOT a tough city. BTW, whoever said they would throw a bone to Chicago, um it was the murder capital of the US a few years back, and the girls here are super ghetto fab lol Def on the list and HIGH up there...not proud trust me

I don't know if she was faking it for the cameras, I think she was exaggerating it for the other cast members, to intimidate them into not messing with her. I also thought it was way overdone and obvious that she wouldn't go passed yelling and stomping.

Really? I get the complete opposite vibe from her. She seems like the kind of girl that would go off on someone physically just as much as she does orally. I've known girls just like her, very small but get physical, and Jasmine reminds me of them. The only thing that would surprise me if she got in a fight would be her judgement towards getting kicked out and losing her chance at winning.

The way I saw it, Theresa was the one to get too rowdy first! Jasmine was trying to explain to them that Jonna does not have to like Camilla. She was being firm saying it, but Theresa actually jumped in her face in a very aggressive way and THAT is when Jasmine flipped out. Did you expect her to back down? Theresa thought because she was a rookie she would do her like Camila last season, but Jasmine wasn't backing down. How would you feel if someone jumped in your face in that way? I'd be livid! Breaking a mirror is a bit much, but hey, she didn't swing at her face. A lot of people in that situation would if it was the real outside world because that's an aggressive stance. If the challenges continue, MTV keep asking back little Jasmine, she is GOOD television! She's just fun to watch. And also it doesn't matter if all those girls could take Jasmine in a fight physically. Does that mean Jasmine is supposed to lay down and let people walk all over her like some of these rookies do? No, she was just letting her know, "you don't jump in my face like that." It's about standing your ground not about being the best fighter.

NO! Theresa i like a bully, on cut throat she was the same. Plus we need to be realistic we just get to see an hour every week , so we really don't know know what really went down and how was Camila attitude toward Jonna for DAYS , that made her dislike her so much.

YES! You're believing Jonna and Jasmine because that is who you want to believe. Like you said, we only got to see so much. How do we know that Camila really was so mean to her? YEAH! but its weird that most cast member describe Camila as the Biggest fame/attention ***** , they did it on cut throat and they are doing it on rivals. look at cara maria formspring and you will see ;) but in the other hand they describe jonna and jasmine as fun, polite etc. they are just firecrackers / they are not fake and no it was Theresa that made the whole situation worse she started to scream and go all crazy on jasmine first , so jaz just went nuts when she saw that ugly reject was trying to intimidate her . but i have to agree with you the houston line was dumb :)

You don't think pushing back and screaming back makes the situation worse? I honestly think all of Jonna/Jasmine/Theresa are in the wrong and none of them should be getting praised.

yeah, i get your point, but i still like them and i think jasmine just defend herself like most people will on that situation, maybe the whole i am from houston line and breaking the mirror was too much . i am just glad that 5 rookies (jaz,jonna,leeroy,adam/michael) from the real world are actually bringing something to this show and its not just the same kenny,evan, johnny vs wes storyline.

That's cool and all but I think there are ways to "speak your mind" yet be civil. Theresa should also learn to do that too. As should Camila and Jonna.

I can't wait to see jasmine wednesday on my tv . She is so entertaining <3 thank god she put Theresa and Camila on there places. I am rooting for her team to make it to the finals and kick some *** in the jungle :)

I guess that's true but to love someone and praise them for the same reasons that someone else is getting hated on makes total sense to me.
