Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Rivals II - The Island of Misfit Challen

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I think considering these kids act like winning is life or death for them, you would think the prize would be more like a life changing 500,000 instead of just a year's salary.

Pride...if I did these it wouldn't be about the money--I want to win

Again 62.5k could pay my college tuition so id be happy with that... & I'm pretty sure te puzzles are harder than they look when the puzzle pieces are the size of you're body.

Of course you would be happy with it, but is it THAT impressive for a game show? I would say no.

It is--this isn't Survivor or something--it's on MTV and you can do a dozen of these

CT is really impressing me. I never had him pegged as a puzzle person.
kvm1977#40
Again, this is one of the easiest puzzles in the world if you have a shred of intelligence...Johnny and Frank have none

and they act like they are the smartest guys on the planet and constantly insult the intelligence of other people. Funny, huh?

CT's not the smartest guy but these aren't difficult at all.
Challenge 17#44
I'd like to see you do that in the intense Thailand heat
TwoStrikes#45
I'm sure if you were in this situation KVM you would be having trouble too.

Oh, I agree. But people have always had comments about his intelligence so I would've thought that even an easy puzzle would've slowed him down. My mistake.
eggrolledsnake#47
Are they really giving up at such a simple puzzle?
TDMEL52#48
how funny and great would it be if CT and Wes beat them by like 5 or 6 hours.
RealCynic#49
(Imitates Johnny) Fu** you!
ItalianBeats#50
This is already looking intense...nice for Cooke/Cara taking the lead

None at all--none. Could do these in my sleep
Camille#52
who else thinks Nany and Jonna would have killed at this final for the girls? Nany is strong and Jonna has endurance and can do a puzzle like it's nothing.
ItalianBeats#53
Lol at Johnny's reaction to finishing the first puzzle.

I hope we get to see Jonna in a final soon. I bet she'd kill it.

No doubt about it--though I'm not sure either is a great swimmer
jojorules#57

RealCynic#58
Cara Maria's apprehensive expression on the reunion preview is hilarious.
