Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Rivals II - CT & Wes

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Hey guys does anyone know why Wes is acting and looking very different to what he usually is? He is no longer cocky or physically big, instead he is quiet and slim. In addition, he has adopted a hipster inspired look with the beard, glasses and long hair cut. He is my favourite cast member of all time and I am really happy he won but he is just radically different from the usual Wes of past seasons.

Last night you saw the real "Wes," an emerging business entrepreneur in the Kansas Cit area. The Wes you remember was a kid fresh from RW: Austin. He's smart enough to have become an adult. What Wes "usually is" has become nothing to him but an asterisk on his resume.

He needs a better look. The hipster thing really isn't working out for him. I'm glad that CT Finally won a challenge. It's been long overdue. One of the strongest competitors to ever grace these shows now has a win under his belt.

Congratulations to CT and Wes they deserved the win!

Wes did an interview, these are the same people that badmouthed his business, Lol he said he still has to call/text to Kenny/Evan occasionally for appearances and he said he cant talk about why they are not on the challenges anymore, interesting since he wasnt shy about calling them rapists. And there was 30 bags not 20 and they had to carry them back, and he said he is willing to do 1 more. Aparently the bus drivers route guy also interviewed him, that dude also ****s on Wes a lot

Really surprised he did an interview with Wes, I remember reading some of his blogs and tweets and was talking bad about Wes but glad he put his personal opinion aside to interview him, I always wanted to hear a Wes interview, about to go hear it right now :) AND omg this is awesome! A part of me would be happy if he left on a high note with this win but god damn I like Wes so much that I can't imagine hhim not being on another challenge. I'm glad to see he's willing to do another

The Right Reasons Podcast: Challenge Champion Wes Bergmann - Hollywood Prospectus Blog - Grantland Some details that I am too lazy to quote other posters on: Jacoby was the one who was making fun of Wes, not Juliet. Juliet is the one who performed the interview and has stated on almost every podcast during this season how much Wes has grown on her.
yea it was the guy that hates on him, but it was this radio station.site w/e it is, he also did an interview with the bus drivers route guy. These people are not great interviewers, I would like to have more detail like how long was this final, why does he think Johnny did bad on some challenges, some behind the scenes stuff on some of the challenges they did, maybe ask on his take on some of the other feuds (cooke/Diem, Cara/Emily) since he seems to be friends with those girls and I was very curious what Wes would have said about the CT/Diem stuff. and I would have been interested in hearing about the Kenny/Evan stuff but what he said was self explanatory. He also said that since its live someone can make a crazy comment like bringing up the fact that someone was raped by their father and then the person would have to talk about it...what?? They have to, just cause its live? I'm sure they could just pretend nothing happened and move on The Challenge Rivals 2 Wes Interview - Bus Driver's Route - YouTube

Yeah man like I've been waiting for this moment since forever. Inferno 1 should have been his win if it wasn't for his team Same thing with Inferno 2, and man did CT outperform almost everybody on that show. How many life shields did he win again? Inferno 3 would also have been an easy win if he didn't punch that punk Davis. Gauntlet 3 is self-explanatory. (F U Big Easy).

The old one is better. Big, brash, and cocky. Now it's like he's almost anorexic. I know a few good businessmen who still find time to workout, Wes should too lol

Well, even though he looks "anorexic" (which you shouldn't throw around as a term because it's an actual disease that people face), he still ended up winning this season, so I'd say he's doing pretty well for himself regardless.

I want to see Wes back at his Ruins size. But, I guess skinnier Wes works for him since he won.
WESANDNANYFAN#259
I love Wes. He seems a lot different though personality wise. He is usually cocky and constantly in fights but now he is quiet and really chill.

im glad CT won at last but it seems to me he didnt bust his *** this season for the win like in the previous ones. If he had won Duel 1 that would be the most satisfying victory for me.

The Gauntlet 3 loss is his(and the rest of his team's)Fault. They should've gotten rid of Eric when the chances came and they didn't. I don't even blame Eric for that one..I blame the entire vets team for not doing what needed to be done.

Eric is to blame for being pathetic...the only person that could have called out Eric was Evan unless you're saying they should have thrown challenges and prayed that the Rookies would have given them a chance to take out Eric

I'm saying they should've gotten rid of him in any way they could whether that means throwing challenges or risk losing Evan. They should've done anything in their power to get rid of him.

He wouldn't be okay with it but whatever. He's Fresh Meat, They could've done without him anyways(and Eric).

We are off topic but being banned doesn't mean he can never be mentioned ever again.

First post!Long time viewer of the challenges, and these two are in my top 3! CT finally gets his win denied to him by his own actions and less capable athletes teaming together to get him out. Leads me to my favorite player ever, WES IS THE BEST! You wouldn't think a champion like him could ever be underrated but he is. People let their hatred of how he acts overshadow THE ELIMINATION KING! Also love the fact he beat a member of JEKD, who never had to beat him in an elimination to get to the Finale!
