Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Rivals II - Crossing Jordan

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

If They make it to the end Diem better be happy with 3rd place because that's all she's going to get. Aneesa does not have to do anything she doesn't want to do and that includes what Diem wants her to do.

To me, that is the classic definition of a loser, but then I've never had a high opinion of Aneesa.
I'm not sure what being new to posting around here has to do with reading comprehension. Debut Album offered his outlook to which you then based your "loser" outlook on.

My opinion of Aneesa's running less than 30 meters has nothing to do with DA's comment. It's based upon what other cast members have told me.

Damn, what's your problem with Aneesa? Spill!
Nothing, actually. She and I have mutual friends. Sometimes my "poking fun" at cast members is taken too seriously here when it's really intended for some people elsewhere. Diem and Aneesa's training regimen will be addressed in our interview with Aneesa.

For some reason, every time I try to watch this episode on MTV's website, it pauses after the summary of the previous episode and stops completely when that's over and it reaches the first 'commercial break'. I've tried different browsers (first was google chrome), then internet exploder, then opera. Still won't work. :upset:

D'oh! It was my Kaspersky Internet Security blocking it. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

According to Jordan and Frank on the afterbuzz, that little wrestling match between Marlon and Leroy actually sparked a couple of rounds between all of the cast members. So hopefully they'll show that little fun time in The **** They Should Have Shown.

hey for all of you guys who say that Leroy destroyed Marlon in this elimination and that he took both Marlon and Jordan in the second and third round(and there are a lot of those voices) I just want to point out one thing... In the first round Marlon, who is probably 30, maybe even 40 pounds lighter than Roylee took him out like a baby. He pushed him towards red team's bell and tackled him to the ground...but that's easy to notice. After this round we can see interview with Leroy who says: "There is no way that I'm gonna just let Marlon overpower me like this", so it was clear even to him that he lost. Now the more important part. In the second round, at the beginning we can actually see the same old story. MARLON AGAIN PUSHED LEE BACK and won this physical battle, but then boh of them noticed that TY actually was outhustling Jordan, so Leroy made a smart, right move, got away from Marlon (didn't push him back but simply escaped from that brawl...and as he got away, Marlon lost his balance and stumbled backwards) and ran full force into Ty and Jordan to push them towards blue team's bell. Only in the third round Leroy actually overpowered Marlon and pushed him back...then again he wasn't able to stop Jordan, while Marlon easily got much stronger Ty in a headlock. So please stop presenting it like Leroy showed a monstrous strength, and took both Marlon and Jordan and that he would have won if it hadn't been for Ty. I like Roylee too, he is strong, down to earth, funny and always a class act, but he definitely disappointed me on this one. He showed nothing spectacular and to be honest he showed nothing spectacular throughout the whole challenge. I thought that he has got potential to be a beast in those challanges, now I think that I might have been wrong.

This is beautiful.

thanks for bumping this! I wasn't part of this thread when Rivals 2 aired, but looking back.. this was one of my favorites. It had good eliminations and a great cast with drama and competition.

Reading back, I still can't believe Jordan and Marlon beat Ty and Leroy in something that is physical. I wish Jordan would come back to the challenge.

i will say this i doubt Marlon is 30lbs lighter. at the most maybe 10.

like Leroy i would say during Rivals 2 was about 200 or 205

making Marlon about 190.
