Behind the Screen: Challenge: Rivals - D-Day Reality

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Well Brandon and Ty had numbers on their side from CT and Adam, Mike and Lee, and Jasmine and Jonna. Then they would only had to persway 2 teams like Sarah and Katelynn, and Cara Maria and Laurel...

How? Did it really matter? Evan/Nehemiah wouldn't be going in anyway. The JKE and company alliance have everything on LOCK. It's been like this for several challenges now, there has been 0 game changers. Absolutely none and this is why the challenges are going downhill.

Laurel and Sarah are both loyal to Kenny, they weren't going anywhere.

Quoted for the truth.

Funny how most of the cast members (particularly the veterans) have strong bonds to either Kenny or Wes.. so if they had gotten eliminated I truly believe it would have become a free-for-all alliance chaos.

Or what I'd refer to as the greatest thing to happen to The Challenge in years.

Sorry for "digging up" the thread but can anyone tell me the song on the rap battle between Brandon and Johnny?

This was a great episode and I am really happy to see so many hear agreeing with my assesment. The elimination was terrible. The show is called Rivals and seems much better suited to be a show about rivals working TOGETHER to overcome odds. It's is very weak that one person can save the team from elimination while the other watches. Both teammates should have had to climb or the losers of each heat should have had to compete. The fate should not rely solely on one player.
