I think the reason the last half of rivals did so well, was because Evan got eliminated which lead to CT being the main character over JEK. I don't think people want to see the same people focused on over and over again. I personally liked watching leroy and mike, ct and adam, and laurel and cara maria more than JEK, Paula, Wes.

Really pumped about the renewal! I do have to say, though, that I wish they would schedule a series with a record of high ratings ahead of it because it may lead into the same audience following the next show. I've been a fan of the Challenges since the beginning and would like to see them continue as long as they have a strong format...

So it won't be fun, to me, to watch rookie/outsider 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 to be the first eliminated then it comes down to JEKWTJP for the second half of that season. Just my opinion.

Having people like Mandi, Theresa, Casey on the Challenge is the most annoying thing about these shows. I don't like the Fresh Meat kids any more or less than the regular Real World people it's just annoying how BMP keeps inviting back the FM people that suck!! I want to see Evelyn, Laurel, Brandon, Kenny, Carley occasionally instead of seeing Mandi and Theresa so much. I do wish more Real World newbies were casted, so sick of JEK/Wes/Paula/Tyler, please give us something new BMP!

I'm so glad about the renewal. But I don't want a duel next season, because there's been talk about how if theres a duel 3 people would start retiring. I wish there was a battle of the sexes 3. Idk, I'd love to see Ev and Lauren, people who do better than most guys, compete against guys but I think that a Challenge Hookups would be extremly intresting, but it wouldn't really get good ratings. I could tell. And I think that people keep on inviting Mandi and Casey because theyre really entertaining to watch by just sucking at the challenges and always hook up with people. I want casey back, she reminds me of myself:) hahah

The thing is, everybody here that are devoted fans of the show and get really invested into The Real World and the challenges, want to see some things change and see different people. However, to a casual viewer, if you put people in there that a casual viewer doesnt remember then they might not tune in. Casual viewers want to see their favorites or they want to see the ones they hate lose the game. Kenny, Wes, Even, Johnny, Ev, Paula....all those people are popular players and good athletes that casual viewers like to watch. There are more casual viewers than there are hardcore viewers such as us. Mandi and Casey are brought back because they are pretty girls that like to have fun, that people want to see do well because they are the underdogs, thats just that. I dont think Mandi is that terrible of a competitor, but everyone else her seems to. Oh well I imagine next season we will be seeing some of the same cast members that were on Rivals.

I have to agree with you whole heartedly. Thats why people like coral, mike, rachel, veronica were always invited back, bc back then, they were fan favorites of the casual. Until some new people come out and really change things, we will be seeing the same people most of the time. On the subject of Mandi, i don't think she is a bad athlete, but we have to remember her type of athleticism might not be suited for these challenges. I think on her mtv profile dur fm2, it said she was a marathoner. She may be a good runner, but a terrible athlete when it comes to the type of challenges they have implemented. But a running challenge, I'm sure she would rock.

I hope we get 2 challenges next year and I hope the next challenge is an individual challenge like the Duel. I'm getting tired of the same alliances and people winning, but I will still watch the challenges regardless.

Hes the host of a dating show in Canada I believe. It has nothing to do with the Challenges.

In my opinion, Duel 3 would be a major fail for MTV if done without Evelyn. She will be back in school in the fall, so that removes her from the next challenge, assuming that it occurs before the end of the year.

Do they usually film in October? And omg cant believe they have to take off a whole semester to do these, I wouldnt do that. Too bad, she said she was upset she missed the 1st one and she said she really wanted to do duel 3, it would be a shame if she couldnt do it.

I remember Duel 2 was being filmed on Halloween, so they have filmed in October. I don't know if it's when they're usually filmed though.

So was FM2, I think its roughly 7 months after the previous, hopefully people in school can still do it.

They really need to think about this next challenge and get it right. It needs to be renewed for more than 1 season. I think the ruins 2 would be their best bet with the right cast. I don't think Duel 3 is the right way to go.
