So will they start filming in October? I am going to go through challenge withdrawal, they said it won't air until 2012 so I am guessing spring and that feels like such a long wait. Also I read on twitter that people have seen a preview for the reunion, is it online or on tv?

I'm pretty sure we can say see ya to the titles Inferno and Gauntlet. What's done is DONE!

I know it's probably EARLIER than too early to tell: when they will begin filming. when the challenge will premiere (what month in 2012 to be more specific) who will be in the challenge. what challenge will it be. But here's what I think: when they will begin filming: Probably around October. when the challenge will premiere: January or February. March the latest! Who will be in the challenge: I predict: -CT and Adam will be there (good for ratings/entertainment) - Laurel, Cara Maria, Mandi and Theresa are all high possibilities since they became regulars. - At least one member of JEK and/or Wes/Tyler. (I wanna see Kenny try to win ALONE) - For the Rooks: Jasmine/Jonna and Leroy seemed very anxious (and are interesting enough) for a next try. -About 3-4 first timers from DC, New Orleans & Vegas(maybe San Diego) -Jenn will probably be there to make it to the Finals and lose like always. -Hope and Pray Paula returns as a Champ! -Ev, Kelly Anne and Diem showed interest (if it was a Duel 3) -Other possibilities: Eric (FM), Brandon, Ty, Emily (DC), Vinny, Nehemiah, Shaouvan (please no) What Challenge will it be: Probably a Duel III. MAYBE a Gauntlet/Inferno. If not New Format. What do you guys think?

From what I heard here are some people we can expect to see and not see. Jenn said she is done Noor sounds pretty interesting in doing one (and I REALLY want to see him back) but he also just got a new job so I don't know. Brandon definitely wants to come back. Sarah always seems to want to be on these. Leroy said he would love to do another one. Mike doesn't sound so sure. Last I heard Dustin was on the fence. Supposedly Nany want's to do one. Derrick is itching to come back. Adam King sounds interested in coming back. Mark Long said he feels as if his starts are aligned and he is ready to return. Jonna and Jasmine said they want to do another. Ev said she retired in the past so I am not sure she is keen on coming back unless it is a duel. Wes said recently he is a challengeholic Haven't heard anything concrete but I think Kenny is close to hanging it up, at least for a while. Evan sounds like he is done. Johnny and Tyler have done two in a row so I can see them sitting the next one out. Rumor has it Brad has the urge come back even though he swore it off. Coral, Alton, Tori, and Darrell sound like they are done for good.

Woot great news (yeah I'm late, blame the timezone..) I love MTV for this :p Now keep the drama going for good ratings and we should be getting more seasons 1 at a time :p

Yay! I'm happy the challenge is renewed. Now I hope that they cast alot of people from the more recent seasons because I feel like they really need to be given a shot at these things. They can't rely on JEK forever.

I think there is a real distinction between veterans and rookies and probably seven times out of ten the vets will come out on top baring a fluke. Thanks, fabulous. I was wondering why my reply in the "Challenge Renewed" forum had been moved to the "Fantasy/Favorite Challenge Casts" forum. I thought I was losing it there for a minute!!

I said this in the finale thread, but it makes sense here too... With the challenge being renewed, I hope this becomes a transition season for the show (similar to Gauntlet 2 way back in the day, where the "then" regulars like Veronica, Rachel, Coral, Miz, etc. took time off).

I miss the days of those regulars...they were way more interesting than all these Fresh Meat kids...ugh. Regardless, glad it's renewed.

I get so tired of people slamming the Fresh Meat kids. It isn't as if a lot of people here wouldn't have tried out if given the chance. While a few of the girls are over-the top, they generally have been the ones to keep the Challenges going with so many RW alums being too snottty to come on the show. Maybe if they only get one more season, a few of the holdouts will come out to play, but until then, people should be grateful that these Fresh Meat kids are willing to show up.

Yay! I had a feeling it would be. Best challenge in a long time and really what else can they put in that slot that will deliver? Now they just have to step their game up with another brilliant concept and interesting cast for next year.

Actually there are a lot of new cast members who aren't given a chance but a ton of FM kids are. I think that's what some people have a problem with. I know that at least 10 cast members from the past 5 RW seasons are interested in doing a challenge but are skipped over. And people like Mandi, Theresa, Brandon, Casey etc... are constantly asked back. But anyway, im hoping for another team challenge and a new concept. Cutthroat and Rivals have been really good and interesting so they should just keep coming up with something different that surprises the cast and the fans. I think Duel 1 was a just a fluke. It had the perfect cast, the right amount of fun crazy drama with political drama. And the challenges were fun to watch but were still somewhat difficult to do. And It also gave some memorable elimination moments (I.e Svetlana vs Kina/Beth, Derrick/Wes, CT/Brad). I don't think a Duel 3 would match that, especially with the way casting has been. They obviously are looking to a handful of regulars to be key players. Everyone else is gonna come off as wallpaper. So it won't be fun, to me, to watch rookie/outsider 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 to be the first eliminated then it comes down to JEKWTJP for the second half of that season. Just my opinion.

The Challenge was renewed yesterday. We don't have any idea who is going to be on it at this point.

Geez people, give Molds a break - it hasn't even been officially renewed for over 24 hours. There probably is some stuff planned at least (even if it's just ideas being thrown around) - but I doubt they are jumping into it yet.

For every person here like you who apparently wouldn't have tried out if given the chance, there is one who would try out to be on the show as a Freshmeat contender.

I think the regulars like JEK, Wes, Ev, Paula, etc are needed for the ratings to stay high. In my opinion, the reason Cutthroat had bad ratings was because a lot of the regulars weren't on it. All of us who post on Vevmo are going to watch regardless, but if you want to get the high ratings, you need the regulars.

What's the reason FM2 had bad ratings? Kenny, Paula, Jenn, Wes, Darrell, Evelyn were all on there.

I really hope with the new producer the challenges can go back to the fun days! I think the super intense final challenges are just unnecessary and not really that interesting! I'm going to go in with low expectations and hope to be surprised. :)

I think it's because there wasn't a lot of excitement about Fresh Meat II in the first place. Sure, the regulars were there, but it was clear after the first couple of episodes that the season wasn't going to hold interest for a lot of people.
