Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Free Agents - Laurel Stucky

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I am glad to see her back & while I hope she does well, I am not ready to see her win yet. Still, I like the drama she always brings...

I LOVE Laurel but I don't know if I want her to win since it's so obvious she has this on the bag. none of these girls can put their pinky finger on her...

The Challenge: Free Agents - Laurel Stucky

Youssarian ·

Last seen making a runner-up finish on Rivals, Laurel returns to The Challenge after a three-season layoff. She may have made the final in every Challenge she's competed in, but a win still eludes this fierce competitor. Laurel hopes Free Agents will allow her to break the streak, "I've had three second-place finishes which is somewhat impressive, yet disappointing at the same time. I've been waiting to be on my own and this is a chance for every person to show what they've got individually." Unlike many of her peers, Laurel can separate her emotions from the competition, but her road to victory takes an unexpected turn when she falls for one of her fellow competitors. Can Laurel maintain her laser focus and keep her eye on the prize? Or will romantic entanglements derail her plans?

I LOVE Laurel but I don't know if I want her to win since it's so obvious she has this on the bag... none of these girls can put their pinky finger on her. But then again after Laurel I think the next best competitor is Camilla. And i'd rather Laurel win for the first time than Camilla winning again. And no body else is even in the running to win the final to me. Like Aneesa might be another duel queen, but she'll never win a final. And all the other girls just are playing for 2nd in my opinion. But what do I know?

Looking forward to seeing her react with the newer challengers she hasn't been on a show with. [Jordan, Nany, etc.] Should be interesting to see her with Bananas and CT also.

2 wins in 2 episodes. Laurel is off to a good start! I'm excited for what's to come! <3

Yup, Laurel is definitely close with Nany. She just posted this on twitter recently. Laurel Stucky ‏@laurelstucky Apr 16: "Talk about girls you can trust @diembrownmtv & @nanymtv two of the best lock boxes of secrets I know. Love ya both :) want to be like you."

Yeah, that's what she said on her twitter/blog.

Nope I don't like Laurel's decisions. Targets LaToya and then Jonna? Ugh why can't you go for other people. Just take your check and go home please!

Jonna was a smart decision for Laurel. LaToya was a safe decision.

I agree. Love Jonna, but it was very sensible for Laurel to put her in.
timster3#13
Yeah I know it was smart I just don't like it -________________- she made it seem like she doesn't like Jonna as well. Which I didn't expect.

Yeah, that was kinda weird to me. She and Jonna were so hostile towards each other. I thought they had become friends on Rivals, but apparently not.

I feel like Laurel kind of looks like a hypocrite this episode since she's always talking about how the men on the challenge don't respect women, and now she's not only dating the worst offender, but defending him at every corner.

I wouldn't call him the worst offender to be fair there are worst people, but yeah seems that laurel really fall for jordan

I really wish Emily said yes to this season. Emily and Laurel would've loved to work together, Emily's close with Jordan also. But I feel like she would side with Aneesa and Johnny B. It could have been great.

Great win by Laurel in the elimination! How did she ever lose that point !?!?! Seriously though, her biggest win came in the draw. I was just relieved Camilla didn't draw the kill card because the last thing I want is for her to go home this early. The cast is playing with fire every time they vote the strongest competitors in!

I think she gave it up on purporse

Obviously :) Over on twitter she had this gem: ‏@laurelstucky May 9 @caramariamtv gotta say i love the barrage of f$#%s that you decided to spew after you pull the Kill Card for the 2nd time….. in a row.

While watching Stripes, I was wondering if people were actually intimidated by Laurel during voting, or if they were more like lol Laurel can you stop...you're embarrassing yourself. I'm leaning towards the former but I don't know

Zach was almost laughing.

I hope Laurel sends Jonna home. If Jonna didn't change her vote I wouldn't feel this way.

Do you mean Theresa? If so, I agree. But I'm not a huge Theresa supporter anyway so I think I would want her to go home regardless lol.

Oh yeah sorry I mean Theresa! I agree but it would be pretty funny if Laurel did it.
Desertpuma#26
Theresa looked like she was voting scared. I guess Laurel has more of an intimidating stare in person.

Yeah she was the only one that seemed like she was shaking in her boots while voting. But that could have been from the stares from Devyn and Cara too.

I would love if she did, I want her to take Aneesa out too.

So much this. Aneesa is so jealous of her and has been outperformed by Laurel in every mission and also every challenge. "It's too early to send me into an elimination" lmao she's trash. She's only decent at eliminations, but even then Laurel would still beat her. It was funny to see Aneesa struggling to hang on to that rope before she fell last episode and right behind her you see Laurel basically bored out of her mind because the mission was so easy for her.
