Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Free Agents - Isaac Stout

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

That was hilarious! I love Issac. He's always upfront and completely unashamed to be himself. He's goofy and a person that the Challenge really needs to come back season after season. He isn't the best competitor but he has fun with it and tries his best no matter the outcome.

Oh I saw that too but thought it was just me. On the first couple cards, it looked like the teeth stuck off of the plane on the card. The last one looked very...flat.

Yeah so I looked and they were definitely had the kill cards on all the same patterned cards for both guys and girls and they definitely changed them prior to Episode 6. These are three kill cards from the first 2 episodes (1 guys, 2 girls): 4749 4750 4751 All three have the exact same stain pattern. Could've been pretty easy to pick up on as long as you were paying attention. These are the kill cards now: 4752 4753 Less stain marking, the teeth on the skull are less pronounced and the lines aren't as dark. Isaac should've kept his mouth shut. I can appreciate him trying to help Cohutta, but he got himself sent home. EDIT: Here's the backs of two kill cards: 4754 4755 Both have that same "v" shaped stain in the middle.

Watching Issac again on his Jonna hookup clip was great. That tattoo scene was pretty funny and his little awkward dance outside during the rain was a great reminder of duel 2.

I like the Isaac/Jonna coupling. They were cute.

Isaac stuck around Uruguay after he was eliminated and had a camera to document his adventures. Apparently he hung out with some of the other cast members as they got eliminated. Here is part 1 of a series of videos he will be releasing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuTPBAcFkv0 He has another video documenting his travels to Puerto Rico. I found it pretty entertaining. He really shows off his odd but charming personality and his creative side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5Won_0vAXM

I love Isaac. He's got a pretty distinct brand of humor that doesn't appeal to most, thus giving off a "weird" vibe. He's entertaining (especially in interviews) and people in the house seem to love him.

He's funny as hell. He seems like the type of dude you'd wanna get drunk with lol I want to see him back for entertainment purposes.

I really wish he was on more challenges. Hes funny and brings humor to the challenges. I still remember him calling Landon into elimination on The Duel 2 for something about his toe. That was funny.

I loved The Duel 2 Shit They Should've Shown. It was hilarious watching Isaac dress up as Flavor Flav, Rachel as Megan from Rock of Love 2 and Mark as Bret Michaels for Halloween. Both MTV and VH1 were super popular at the time so it was interesting to see them dress up as VH1 characters.

Is it true that he doesn't get calls anymore because he knew which card was the kill card and told everyone in the house?

He's not the most exciting tv ever, although I personally find him to be 1. Eye Candy and 2. Funny.

I heard something like production was furious at him for knowing the kill card and they stopped calling him because of it

production would need to not call almost everyone then I mean if it was obvious why would make it more obvious

Maybe I'm completely wrong. I just heard something like that a couple years ago.

I mean he was such a random person to appear on free agents and je really didn't do much there so it makes sense not to call him again

I always wished they showed more of him when he was on, hes hilarious but theres no drama so no screentime

Because Free agents was declined by a lot of people and back then after that season on exes 2 production realized that they can cast from other shows. So they stop calling randoms like him to fill up spots.

Also if I remember correctly  he was only on free agents as Knight replacement after Derek couldn't do it in such a short noticed. After Knight slapped Frank on Rivals 2 live reunion a few weeks before filming this season and production decide to dropped Knight over pulling that. Then on that season he didn't do much other than hooking up with Jaz and/or Jonna and I dont even if I remember that made the final cut of the episodes.

In other words they moved on from him over his big personality not translating well on this show and the casting pool getting bigger with the intro of ayto.

venomedglare#86

Yeah I always found him weirdly hot too

Isaac was a better fit for the Golden Era seasons when the missions weren't all athletic based/repetitive and they actually came up with fun challenges that any of us could do. Plus his personality would have fit better with a lot of the more chill Old Schoolers. One of my favorite RWers ever.

He would be too irrelevant or too extra just to keep a spot on the show today and that's not the Isaac I want to see.

Idk if it's just me but I don't get why theyre  makeing  the show so competitive. The fans aren't coming to your REALITY SHOW to watch boring athletes compete. And the people who have personality aren't as athletic so fans have to watch their favs leave early.

I will always take a season with girls like Marie and Amanda than Jenny and Kaycee

No idea who is Evan but I disagree that team sydney was the strongest based on what we saw of both guy before seasons 2 and after I would go as far as saying that they are pretty weak

Yeah they would be far from the strongest. Kelly anne would probably be the strongest girl or second after Sarah, but the rest are no where near the strongest especially issac and Dunbar
