Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Free Agents - Isaac Stout

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I think it was nice seeing him back just to see if he still had that "funny factor" like he did on Duel 2. I think he was funnier on Duel 2 than on FA but it was nice seeing him back...

There are certain people who are brought there just for the **** They Should've Shown Show. I'd be willing to bet that at least half of that show will be dedicated to Isaac antics...

I love Isaac. I think he's hilarious. If only they showed him more! I definitely want to see him back.

I was sad to see Isaac go. He was refreshing to see. He hasn't lost and of his hilarity oddness. I hope that he comes back on these things. I fully believe that we need more people like him on these shows.

I'm not a huge fan of Isaac his oddness isn't really comical to me and he's not a great competitor. It was fresh to see him but I would rather him not come back I'm fine with just Cohutta.

Other way around for me. I think Cohutta adds nothing to the show, but I'd love for Isaac to become a regular.

Why would we want a regular that's a horrible competitor?

Whattttt? I think Cohutta is hilarious and has been one of the most consistent performers so far this challenge. The only reason I don't like him a bit is because he's with my girl Nany. Isaac is alright nothing special. If he shows up on another challenge I wouldn't be mad nor would I be happy.

Not everything about the show is about competition.... Katie is not that great of a competitor, but has given us some of the best scenes in Challenge history. You need entertaining people to balance it out, and these entertaining people are primarily what draw in viewers (Free Agents is centered around competition and it's not doing so well in ratings).

But Katie's at least fighter and has won/can win eliminations I'm not convinced Isaac can do anything at all Nor do I find him "entertaining"...sometimes has a good one liner but he's useless IMO I just said he shouldn't be a regular--not that he should never be on

Because it's not always about competition when it comes to these shows. Some people actually like to be entertained.

If Free Agents was centered around competition they wouldn't have included Jasmine, Emilee, Preston, Brandon, Jemmye and Chet on the cast.

No Challenge ever was focused on competition soley. Because on every challenge there were people who were awful competitors.

I firgured people knew which one was the kill card. Issac shouldn't have talked about it. But I'm pretty sure CT knows which one it is.
They changed it now though per this interview which is how Isaac got screwed so CT probably can't know
toenails#59
Wow, if he had just kept quiet about it... What an idiot.

Atleast they changed it up.

Isaac is entertaining...I have to at least give him that I now think Cohutta is just as stupid as Isaac thouhg 'The Challenge: Free Agents': Isaac knew how to cheat the system in the draw ... until it caught up with him - Zap2it
That was an interesting and funny read. Thanks! I love how he owned how terrible he was in the elimination. People had mentioned the possibility of memorizing the grains on the Kill Card, so now we know for sure that some had. CT seems to know what he's doing. I wonder if he's in for a shocker like Isaac was. "But you still fought pretty valiantly in the elimination -- No. Don't lie to me, Sydney. I did horribly. We all saw it on national TV, don't bulls*** me. Johnny Bananas, he's a strong dude. You don't really expect it but when I grabbed ahold of him, it was hard. And I have a background in jiu jitsu, but I was so stupid and I listened to Cohutta. I always listen to him which is probably why I'm not a billionaire. He gives the worst advice ever. He told me to go high and try and tackle his torso, and I did that, and it was the worst ********** strategy. I should have trusted myself but I chose to wrestle the bear and I f***ed myself. You said something after the elimination that the sand screwed you up, too, right? That's just an excuse I used for being terrible and losing. It's not the sand. I can't blame the sand. I just suck.
