Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Free Agents - Dustin Zito

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

The Challenge: Free Agents - Dustin Zito

Youssarian ·

Fresh off a breakup with his Real World sweetheart, this is Dustin's first Challenge as a single man. Although he made a pact with his ex not to hook up with anyone in the house, that notion flies out the window on night one when Dustin catches the eye of a rookie girl. Last seen finishing in second place on Battle of the Seasons, Dustin has proven he can excel in the physical aspects of the game, but hopes the Free Agents format will negate his weakness--politics. Dustin notes, "A lot of people want to play politics. I just want to play the game." Will Dustin's political naivete be his Achilles heel? Or will he go the distance again?

I gotta admit. He rubbed me the wrong way in Vegas and he was alright on exes for the time he was there..But He really shined on Battle of the Seasons 2. He was entertaining as hell on that challenge. I hope that he can bring that entertainment value back on this challenge.

Love Dustin. I want to see him dominate. Or at least make out with another dude.

You literally can't type his name along with any other word(s) without a gay **** pic popping up on google lol. It must suck knowing that all of that stuff is going to be on the internet FOREVER. His kids will see it, his kids kids will see it, etc... damn I would be depressed as hell lol

He's one of my favorite male competitors this season. I hope he isn't d/qed for splitting up his knee again LOL. Does anyone still think that was so bogus? The cut didn't look that bad..

Lol yeah right Dustin isn't dominating especially with a strong guys cast unlike seasons

Dustin is one of my favorites! I believe he can stand on his own with this cast or any cast. If he fails, I can't wait to see how. I'm sure not for lack of effort, perhaps he gets unlucky.

Did we all forget how he kept big *** Zack from taking him down in that oil wrestling challenge on Battle of the Seasons??

What was even more bogus is that they let Aneesa or Rachel sit out for that days mission. Him and Hearher could of stayed at least one more week and see how he was feeling.

It was so slippery in the oil pit it was hard to get a grip, if it was on sand like beach brawl there would be a different outcomes. IMO Dustin would last he has no allies but Nany and if the draw sends him against a strong guy he's going home.

But it's still wrestling and Dustin held his own especially from a guy that big, Zach should of done better (like the elimination round with CJ). He was just a huge disappointment in seasons 2.

Still lets just see how long Dustin lasts I doubt he could beat anyone on the cast but Chet cohutta and Preston

The oil thing is just an excuse. Oil doesn't negate the fact that much bigger, taller guy should have defeated him easily.

Dustin clearly has some skills, but we haven't seen him in any other mission or elimination round in something psychical so I have nothing to base it on.

The fact was it was a slippery surface and hard to get a grip if it was on sand then Zach would have won Dustin isn't great like people think he he is hell I think most of these guys here would beat him in a elimination

If it's physical. Other than that it proves nothing in this criteria.

Oh please like he could beat any of the strong dudes here like CT Johnny Zach or Leroy in anything besides maybe a puzzle

Yeah Both have to prove themselves, bc no one has really prove anything, IMO zach hasnt prove anything none on rivals 2 and none on seasons, this challenge is perfect for both of them to see what they really can do. I still think dustin has skills, but we should see.

He could probably beat them in a lot of things. They're not gods.

Really? I thought Zach and Trey killed in on Rivals 2. I would of hands down bet them making it to the final and even winning it if they hadn't DQ.

I didn't say that. If he loses he loses but the main point was how he was physically not mentally, strategically, or something endurance ect. If he loses a elimination in other categories it doesn't change anything on what was said earlier then.

The water elimination round in Bots2.

CT and Johnny are both stronger so I doubt it

Also I'm not sure how Johnny and CT got brought up. I never compared Dustin between those two or said Dustin was better then them. All I was saying was he deserved some credit for holding his own in that mission against Zach. Ct and Johnny are irrelevant.

Strength? It has a lot more to do with strength.

It also depends on your partner so I don't know why you brought it up considering the eliminations are individual this season. Dustin doesn't suck but he's average at best
