Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Favorite/Fantasy Casts

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Thank you, there is alot more veteran girls then guys I discovered. How about this idea. The Challenge: The Chamber Location: Córdoba, Argentina. Host: Damien Fahey Mostly The Chamber looks similar to the Inferno II. Rules: The three teams compete in a challenge. The winning team adds $10,00 to their bank account. The two losing teams choose someone from their own team to sacrifice to the Chamber. The winning team can pick anyone they want, even from their own, team to join the two nominated players in the Chamber. The three compete in the Chamber, only one walks out. Teams. Real World 1. Frank 2. Alton 3. Derek 4. Dave 5. CJ 6. Aneesa 7. Janelle [Key West] 8. Kimberly 9. Jonna 10. Jasmine Road Rules 1. Theo 2. Shane [Campus Crawl] 3. Derrick [X-treme] 4. Derek [2007] 5. Dan [2007] 6. Susie [Down Under] 7. Veronica [Semester at Sea] 8. Cara [South Pacific] 9. Jodi [X-treme] 10. Angel [2007] Fresh Meat 1. Evan 2. Kenny 3. Ryan 4. Johhnie 5. Jesse 6. Casey 7. Diem 8. Evelyn 9. Aviv 10. Linette

I liked the Inferno 2 cast; lots of good competitors on it, decent challenges, good amount of drama, and the challenge was pretty close. The Bad ***** raced out to a 3-0 lead and slowly started to implode & The Good Guys caught up to them and took an 8-7 lead heading into the final and won.

Inferno 2 was not a bad cast actually.

I don't think Fresh Meat had that bad of a cast as far as alumni are concerned. I mean, they had Coral, Katie, Tina, Shane, Tonya, Wes, Johanna, Theo, and Darrell. Those are some of my favorite alumni--and seeing the dynamic between the teams was fun too. The new cast members kind of sucked (and still do), but otherwise, the alumni were pretty awesome.

The alumni cast wasn't that bad at all, I thought they were great picks but the challenge itself did not have me at the edge of my seat even though I enjoyed it. It was pretty much like "Hey! Evan and Coral won again, lets throw in Wes and Casey." After Evan and Coral left, I knew either Darrell & Aviv or Theo and Chanda had it in the bag. I was surprised that Kenny and Tina were in the finals but they were great entertainment. It was like dumb and dumber.

For Fresh Meat, I think the cast was balanced. There was weak Fresh Meat and strong Fresh Meat. Then there was strong alumni and weak alumni.

Fresh Meat was actually the first challenge that I saw and was the challenge that got me hooked on the show. Consequently, I have a soft spot for that one and all the cast, including the Fresh Meat.

Plus the fact that Wes & Casey had such an advantage because they packed light... that rule seemed so lame! Even though I really liked Wes & Casey

True that...he's a good athlete but I wouldn't rate him above Landon, CT, Evan, Mike. He's more along the lines of Abram, Derrrick, etc. Wes reminds me of a mini Abram. I think he's hilarious though, and I'm excited for him on the ruins.

I'd love to see Abram on a challenge with both Abram 2.0(Wes) and Abram 3.0(Dave), LOL.

Yeah Dave from RW Hollywood, he looks somewhat like Abram, LOL.

The original Abram is the best competitor in my opinion. He's not as big and physically strong as Abram 2.0 but in the mission, he seems smarter. It's like on G3, even though CT was the strongest and called the shots, when it came time to compete, Evan came up with the strategies. It's like that sort of when it comes to Abram and Wes. Wes yeah does the heavy lifting, but he wouldn't know where to put stuff. On Duel, he didn't excel in the missions except the swimming ones. Although he did do what he needed to do, and won. Abram 3.0 doesn't deserve the name Abram 3.0 in my opinion. We haven't seen anything from him except the ability to quit.

I think he meant that he looks like Abe.

I totally agree! One of the things that I loved about Abram on Road Rules is how he really supported the whole team to succeed.... Like when he helped Donnell up the space needle... Dave on the otherhand shouldn't even be in the same sentence in my opinion! He's so full of himself with no reason! Plus I have no patience for Quitters!!!!

The alumni (I'm talking about the people who had already done challenges before, not Austin) were what made that challenge enjoyable for me. That and I did like some of the missions. I did not think that challenge was as bad as some people did because of the alumni interaction and personalities.

I didn't like him after the thing about Sarah and the drunk puking pictures. The movement did make me laugh for days and still does!
