Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - The Perks of Bei

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I don't think that they would name their alliances.

LOL, that's what I was thinking. This isn't Big Brother, the alliances don't have names...

As dumb as that would be...reading this makes me really wish they did. I'm pro-JEK but on TVGasm the person who does the recaps calls them the ****** Trio which is hilarious...Evan called them the Wolfpack...I kinda want alliance names now.

I'm really interested in seeing how Danny & Melinda can pull themselves together and how this is going to work out during the mission. Melinda and Fresh Meat team have experience together, so Austin - Fresh Meat alliance is a definite.

Both Danny and Melinda do. Danny was on FM2 with Brandon and CM.

I have such a hard decision to make, do I watch the challenge, or south park at 10?

Finally, opening credits they actually put effort in.

Knight lost a bunch of weight during his season but appears to have gained it all back, and then some. Too bad.

What a waste of good olive oil...

When Frank said he's running the show this season a part of my soul died. I now only have 9/10ths of a soul.

Gee I wonder who's going to win this one? Maybe the team with the giant from Michigan

Hot people wrestling in olive oil? Not so wasteful to me...

Also, yet another example of the rule makers being so incompetent to not realize how unfair the match up system is. The fact that this isn't a tournament of sorts is ********. So all one team has to do is win the first round and send themselves up against ****ty people.

While the rest of the teams sit back and watch and not gain any puzzle pieces. ;)

I know, they REALLY need to stop doing it like this. It's a big reason why the Champions team kept winning during the Ruins EVERY FREAKING TIME, cause it was a HUUUUUGE advantage for them.

Yes, he looks terrible. But not worse than how Vinny did on Exes, haha. - Zach is punching Dustin kind of weirded me out :crap: But I agree, it should have been a tournament.
cystic#21
Alright you guys, the moment you all tuned in for - an oiled up McKenzie.
Nightwolf#22
What?! Knight couldn't beat JD?!

Nope, he definitely does not look like a butch lesbian.
JL81790#24
I have never like Camila until now. Dustin's a ******. And Mckenzie and Nany did not last nearly as long as I would've liked it to.
LaneV95#25
I actually really like this challenge lol
TSPKM2#26
McKenzie and Ashley get wins! :)
Nightwolf#27
See what I mean? This is absolute BULL**** and it's not even funny If next week is like this, I may very well stop watching the show for good
TDMEL52#28
Nothing better than hot oiled up women.
molds13#29
Sarah and I said "that was fast" at the exact same time.
arilicious#30
Preston beat Alton? :O
molds13#31
Frank's right...this was a flawlessly executed plan. And terrible rules on the part of production. I bet they weren't expecting this.
