Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - I Like to Move i

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

How has she even remotely been getting a free ride? She has performed well and honestly she was the most deserving female there along with Sarah. Episode 1: Cancun wins mission. Episode 2: Mission thrown. Episode 3: Second best team. Episode 4: Won the mission, even though Vegas was at a slight disadvantage. Episode 5: Third best team. Episode 6: Was one of the actual top teams again. Episode 7: Third best team. Episode 8: Jasmine held them back, they would've won here. Episode 9: Third best team with just two players. Episode 10: Hard to truly judge as some teams had an advantage. Episode 11: They finally perform poorly. Just once. But yes she was getting a free ride.
I don't think Jonna is getting a free ride...but her relationship with Zach has definitely helped her team. I'm bad at remembering individual episodes so I had to go to Wikipedia and look, but there were 4 episodes where San Diego was the power team and Jonna was completely safe from being sent in to the Arena when otherwise that might not have been the case. I know they were in an alliance, but as we saw with Marie and Robb, that doesn't necessarily matter. Jonna boning Zach definitely helped her get further in the show, but I don't think she got a free ride.

But again out of all those times that San Diego was in charge, Cancun was only the second worst team once (in a mission that favored 4 person teams mind you). I do agree that it has helped her game, but at the same time STT did help eliminate San Diego in that physical mission.

To me Jonna and Zach being a couple was irrelevant to the game. Cancun and SD were going to be linked up whether or not they were together, their alliance was predetermined before the game even began. I don't think she personally road his coattail or got a free ride. If Cancun was a weak team and didn't hold their own and just relied on SD saving them THEN we can talk.

Derek said on Derrick's podcast that CJ and Zach had an alliance set in stone before going. I'm sure the hookup made Zach try a little harder to help them out after CJ left but I don't think it was that big of a deal.

Dustin was on andrew's radio show and said it was Frank who screwed up, not Ashley because Frank messed up with the bungee cord.

lol and yet Frank is on twitter saying "f*** ATV's" this and that even though he fails to recognize his own mistakes. I know everyone wants CT to kill him, but I kind of want Kenny and/or Johnny to get into it with Frank just for the pure fact that these are 2 huge political parties that will make for some great TV drama lol.

You lost me. Are you saying she got a free ride or not?

Haha internet sarcasm is so hard to catch. But no I do not think she got a free ride in any way whatsoever.

If Jonna was never on another challenge, I wouldn't care. Woman like her are the reasons why men have such a hard time trusting them. She has been on 3 shows and on 2 of them she broke up with her boyfriend for a dude on the show that didn't last outside of the show. She's an idiot.

And this is further proof that people have a personal dislike for Jonna and throw around phrases like "she got a free ride" because they don't like her.

And what's your point exactly? Yes, there are plenty of men who don't in any way condone the stuff that Jonna does as far as playing guys for their 'usefulness', and yes, there are lots of us who don't think she should be rewarded with free vacations and opportunities to earn money until she has her **** together. Acting trashy isn't going to win many fans and I could flip it around and say that the only people who are her fans must just think she's hot. (for the record, these people must be smoking something because I don't see it)

My point is that people should not claim she's gotten a free ride or boned her way to the final, because they don't like her. Actually I like her because she is likable from what I have seen (haven't watched Cancun), she is a good competitor, and doesn't come off as someone looking for camera time. Her break-up with her boyfriend to be with Zach was hardly trashy, but again you may be speaking about what she's done on Cancun. And yes, people must be using drugs because they find a woman who you don't find attractive, to be hot. She has not done anything to make her unlikable or trashy on the challenges.

Paula is the "trashiest" Challenge female, and she gets tons of fans.....

While I wish there was more of a veteran presence on this challenge, I was happy not to see Paula. I certainly didn't miss her sideshow. I'm indifferent about Jonna and I seem to be the only one. People seem to either really like her or hate her. I don't think she's one of the greatest female competitors, but she performed well on the team challenges and she has a great social game. Cancun and San Diego were aligned long before Jonna hooked up with Zach, so she had nothing to worry about when there was Austin, Fresh Meat, and Brooklyn (and then Las Vegas) to throw in. Cancun's safety had nothing to do with the Jonna/Zach hookup.

look up CSUAkirk on twitter. Can't post the link because the "online radio place" gets *** when linked here. Btw I'm thinking Sarah should have thrown the challenge to get rid of Devyn
