Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - Going Insane

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Alton, that's selfish. I thought more of you, bro...

Not the best team player this time...

Oh Alton. Not the best team player this time. Just quit if you are annoyed with the way things are going. I wouldn't blame him. Of course he would have to hear TJ's quitter speech and probably have to hear Frank and others talk about what a wuss he is, but whatever. Better than Nany or Trishelle having to go home, too.

If Alton quit Trishelle or Nany still would have been out as well

If 1 person quits though what happen? There can't be just 3 people on a team so the whole team would probably be disqualified.

He never said he was going to lose.....I mean vegas can't avoid the eliminations forever so he figured why not now while he is pissed

Lol, the one for dish network says: Altons destructive behavior upsets the house. What a joke.
you forgot the 'and threatens to destroy his team' part. Based on what we saw before the commercial break, it all sounds true to me.

ok maybe he does want to go home

He could quit before the arena. Maybe one of the girls would have to compete with Dustin instead.

But so far he hasn't had destructive behavior that upset the house. He said he didn't feel like going to the beach and dealing with the shenanigans of certain people. That's not destructive. Yes, he upset the house, though.

But one still has to go--can't have a team of 3

I think since Alton is so seasoned, he feels he can do what he wants.
TwoStrikes#73
If Dustin and Nany go in then the trailer gives away who wins the arena tonight.

I think he's just checked out of these things now. He was gone for so long and is several years older than most of the people now. I think it's time for him to be done with challenges.

But correct me if I'm wrong, he may be seasoned, but hasn't come close to winning anything ever. Again, I could be wrong.

I am not a big fan of the eliminations. I'd rather see like the rope duel crawl thing that Leroy and Naomi did on exes as an elimination than these. I liked that as a guy/girl type elimination.

He won Gauntlet 2.

I feel like Alton is acting like Erika from RW: DC. If you want to go home, go home. No one has time for this bs.

We also knew from the trailer that Las Vegas wasn't the power team. That's why I try not to watch the trailers. They give away too much. Go here

3 challenges--3 finals--1 win You're definitely wrong

Dustin stepping up for Nany. Dustin is certainly showing himself this challenge

Destructive probably isn't the best word to use to describe his behavior. It is his actions/decisions that are troubling.
RW561015#83
Wow, battle to be the alpha male. Dudes, chill out and stop it. Alton doesn't owe those guys anything.

Really only troubling to his team. The beach thing was an annoyance to the others who wanted to go, but he wasn't doing anything wrong. It's more "troubling" that production requires everyone to go out or no one goes out, IMO. I think Frank and Zach's actions are more troubling. Quite ridiculous, too. And CJ needs to shut up tonight as well. They really were hoping to eliminate Alton.
TwoStrikes#84
Imagine if someone gets sent home for punching another person and the arena is just called off.
jojorules#85
None of these challenges this season have proved who is any sort of alpha male in this group, so it's all just words and big talk
jojorules#86
He's just an old ****, good one..

It's stupid posturing. And disrespectful. They just want to get the best of Alton. And pot calling the kettle black when Frank and Zach talk about Alton thinking he's the best thing since sliced bread. Look in a mirror!
Sloan#88
Let me get this straight...Alton asked NOLA to throw them in the Arena because he wants to go home, but then he lets Dustin volunteer himself? What the eff is happening?!
wutzrenzi#89
woo hoo Robb's first confessional of the entire season!

I really don't understand how anyone can even tolerate Zach or Frank at this point
YvanEhtNioj#91
I realize that all the negative stuff the cast has been saying about Alton in interviews and twitter is true. You throw your team to the wolfs, but don't even go in the arena yourself? ****in' up, Alton. ****in' up.
