Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - Going Insane

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Zach's proving yet again he's useless (so far). GJ Frank for carrying him...

Frank appears to be the clear leader of his team. Sad that Zach takes the role as basically bodyguard...

Good job San Diego, put your heaviest guy/strongest in the chariot instead of having him run
Seriously. If Zach is telling the truth on Twitter he tops 240! Ridic that he's not the one doing the pulling. LOL at the slow-mo of Robb getting nailed with that egg.

***** I LOVE this challenge! It's so nostalgic of the old days

The thing about Zach is he doesn't have clever one liners or anything,(at least so far) he appears to be just a jock. CT has lost 10 or so challenges, but he is hilarious and has the athletic reputation to keep getting asked back and is an alpha male. You need more than just to be really fit to be a regular, at least i think. I mean it's only ep 5 or whatever, just so far. I don't mind Zach from his interviews/podcasts besides him and frank being insanely arrogant

What was the ear thing? I missed the instructions...

This challenge is the most random ***

I'm sooooo over Frank and San Diego. I hope they don't get cast ever again on a challenge.

Frank is such a jerk. I'm sitting here thinking he is awful to deal with. My cable guide made it sound like Alton started the mess, but looks like Frank was the aggressor. The episode is not over, though, so I don't know, something else might happen. The eggs are good hair conditioner, people! I like this mission.

If only they played more light hearted music. I mean the theme from Carmen is fine but could have been better for the last part
jojorules#43
All these people so tired after the pulling the wagon thing, i just wonder how on a final they would fare in below zero temperature

Well, Zach is having a romance with Jonna, and willingness to hook up seems to be something they look at.

People act like they hate seeing Frank, but Frank is exactly the kind of competitor I would like to see face JEK.

The romance is not getting much screentime though by comparison of most.
Nightwolf#47
If only! If only Las Vegas won! We could have seen San Diego in
RW561015#48
Aw, Vegas. :(

But still, it's something. And he is a part of the alliance planning. I could definitely see him being invited again.

Lol, the one for dish network says: Altons destructive behavior upsets the house. What a joke.
jojorules#50
The thing is on other challenges I did think it's stupid how JEK just completely control the "rookies" and they clearly take adv of them and use them to get far. I do have to say, Frank wouldn't go down quietly if this was happening, so I think he should be on another challenge for sure, even though I find him extremely annoying
TwoStrikes#51
Victory sex tonightttt. Haha I love these challenges. Go here
torstar#52
I love Jemmye and Knight but I wish Vegas won :(
jojorules#53
It's good Laura wants to step up
YvanEhtNioj#54
At least Laura knows she isn't doing ****. Shoulda listened to Marie.
Nightwolf#55
First Carmen, now Ride of the Valkyries ghetto remix?
TwoStrikes#56
Laura literally threw her fish across the field but Marie is right. I hope Marie comes back for every challenge, I honestly wouldn't mind that.
YvanEhtNioj#57
Marie didn't look excited in that team interview lol.
torstar#58
Laura and Trey better put their ***** in the arena .

Exactly, that was the description my cable guide gave. Like I said, IDK, maybe something happens later in the episode in which Alton goes up to some people and starts mess, but from the beginning, Frank was causing chaos, and if something happens later, Alton's already been riled up. Such a shame production made the rule where everyone must go out or no one does. I don't think someone should have to go just so everyone can go. Why such extremes? I remember for Duel 2, only one person could go running at a time.
wutzrenzi#60
Pretty funny - anything can happen mission. I liked it. Team NOLA winning? You would have never saw that coming.
jojorules#61
Alton must be doing more than meets the eye because everyone seems to be implying he is out of his mind on his team, other teams. But it does appear to be mostly people in the alliance though.
