Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons - The Dark Knight

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Eric, Chet, and Dustin all said in interviews that CJ was putting on a show. I thought it was out of nowhere when Chet called CJ a phony but I guess it was necessary...

I agree with a lot of points you made. Knight's behavior is inexcusable and very disrespectful. He's just not a smart person. Maybe they didn't show it properly, but his reasoning for bullying Nany was ridiculous. I love Nany for herself, and Camila and Jemmye for standing up for women in general. I don't understand girls like Jonna, or Sarah, or Trishelle who just let other women get disrespected in front of them. If it were happening to them, I seriously doubt that Trishelle or Jonna would just sit there and take it (I think Sarah would). I don't think it was dumb to throw in Fresh Meat. St Thomas is just as weak as Fresh Meat, so whether they throw ST or FM in, they're not a threat. So it came back to But it'll be interesting when they have to throw each other in. 24 people in an alliance, that is WAY to many. I agree, Devyn and Eric's romance is interesting. It is weird because Eric isn't attractive, to me at least, and when you think about it (this is going to sound really bad), most relationships on TV are between attractive people. Non-attractive people don't really get portrayed as being desirable or able to be in a relationship. So it's refreshing to see something different. Dustin is definitely a great, positive influence on Nany, and it's very cute. But why do you think he's dumb?
I'm not even a hardcore feminist type of person and I agree with you about Knight. People should've been shocked and appalled at his behavior but everyone was just kinda like "Whatever". WTF?! It still would've made more sense to throw in a team that still has 4 people on it instead of FM. So far, having a team of 2 people has been a big disadvantage on challenge days. Why not keep FM around and try to break St. Thomas or some other team down to 2 people so there's more easy-to-beat teams around? It's hard to explain why I think Dustin is dumb. He just comes across as being unintelligent. He never talks about anything of substance, and when he does talk he just seems kinda...dumb. I know that's a bad explanation. Maybe other people can explain better?

Seriously, don´t go there, especially since we know absolutely **** about that incident... PS: Knight was not mind-******* people he bullied the woman, calling them degrading and disturbing things on regular basis.... He never dared to say a single thing to the guys, apparently... and that ladies and gentleman makes him a coward little *******....
Lol Relax, I'm not taking about the rape charges. I'm talking about how ****** they treated her. They were grade A ******-bags. And I think Knight's actions were ridiculous. But when has this show ever displayed class?

I don't know why I'm making so many typos and forgetting to finish my sentences lately, but I need to fix this because it really bothers me lol Knight's behavior is inexcusable and very disrespectful. He's just not a smart person. St Thomas is just as weak as Fresh Meat, so neither is really a threat. So it came down to who they liked the most - 24 people in an alliance, that is WAY too many

This. And about Dustin, yeah, it's true that I don't recall ever hearing him talk of anything of substance... but Frank supposedly has the highest IQ out of anyone on RW or The Challenge, ever, and you wouldn't guess that from the show; I found out from afterbuzz, which by the way made me understand (like?) him a lot more than when he was on RW San Diego.
