"Date" is probably not the appropriate word, but they did (and may still occasionally have) a relationship that included very close and personal physical contact. I recall seeing pics of the two of them together in Hawaii, purportedly in conjunction with a family member's wedding around the time of taping of The Island. A few years ago Evan was interviewed by Sports Illustrated on Campus (SIOC.com). When asked about Abram, he said this:

SIOC: How do you think you'd stack up against the guys on the Inferno, like Abe and Alton? ES: I've never met Alton, but he's a beast. So I really want to see Alton in some kind of elimination-type thing because he seems very good at everything. And Abram's crazy. He's really crazy. He's got scars on his chest, and every time he goes through a life-changing thing he goes out in the woods by himself for three days and scars himself. He's just the weirdest guy. When Coral broke up with him -- this is insider information -- he sat on her porch for a week and didn't move. He's a weird dude.

Abram really doesn't have that scary vibe, He reminds me of Hank Moody type. I strongly think he did the show ,so he can force an anwser from Cara Maria without giving her the ability to dance around how she feels and walk away or hang up the phone and press ignore.

I completely agree with this, except I like Cara Maria. But I completely agree with what you say about Abram - it's so confusing. He has 2 extreme alter-egos, or something.

I like Cara Maria as well but I agree with you about Abram and his split personalities. Also I don't think CM is that bad either. People just expect so much from her its sad. Now if we were talking about Carley then I'd agree.

I'd say Abram's legacy has taken a hit. Cutthroat looked like a amazing challenge for him, when he dominated the min-challenges, but his performance in that final, in this season,a nd the elimiantion against Ty, factoring in he actually lost on I 3 against timmy, if not for Timmy's mistake. he does not seem as good as used to be. Plus factoring in his absolute insanity (branding himself) Evan said it best on Derricks podcast, he got a reputation for running over Brad, in hindsight is that really special?

100% agree He gets the reputation he can be a wildcard, but seriously, he ****ed up in alot of missions, than he has done extremely well in. The Gauntlet and BOTS2 proves that. Disqualification after disqualification. And yeah, that elimination he had with Brad has really had a lot of people hyping him up. He's solid, but when it comes to who I want on my team, he's not even top 10 for me. Also, he doesn't really have a political game. He is an entertaining reality TV personality though. Especially when tries to act like a Martyr, thinking he's the most mature person in the room, even though the edits and outside stories proves otherwise.

Back during the airing of the Inferno 3, Evelyn stated on her myspace that Abram's winning that Inferno was no fluke. The reason behind her thought process was that Abram was actually in the lead until Timmy accidentally knocked that pane down without actually taking the time to shatter it. Basically, it was only until Timmy"skipped" that piece did he actually take the lead. It makes sense if you think about it. Abram was probably one or two hits away from winning and the wasted time and hits that it took Abram to break the piece that Timmy accidentally skipped was enough to put him behind.

It's like Kenny said on Derrick's Podcast, he was good, but now he comes on the challenge with this office body, apparently he was one of the smallest dudes in the house.

Most of these guys train all year for the Challenge. Abram does not train for these challenges and has enterprises outside of the show. When he goes on a challenge he will likely be one of the smaller guys there but he is good at the daily missions, making him a good person for a team challenge.
