Behind the Screen: CBS Big Brother 9 Commerical

Big Brother remains one of the most-watched summer staples in American television, with its unique format of 24/7 live feeds giving superfans an unmatched window into the social dynamics of the game.

The show's blend of strategic gameplay, showmances, and blindsides has fueled one of the most dedicated online fanbases in reality TV — and Vevmo has been at the center of that conversation for years.

I am really excited for this season. But I know it probably won't be as fun for me as last season...

I am really excited for this season. But I know it probably won't be as fun for me as last season. I'm probably kind of spoiled, because the only season I watched (8) the two people I wanted at the end made it to the end, and that's probably not going to happen two seasons in a row. ;) I just hope it won't be the two people that I can't stand the most.

I was also lucky that my team won this last one. I was pulling for chill town in BB7 All Stars, and even though my guy (Dr. Will) didn't win I felt it was a vicarious victory through Boogie. In BB6 I basically tuned out the last month... Hopefully there is some weird outside control this season so we can screw with them and get our way again. ;)

Other than BB6 and BB4 I wasn't ever disappointed with who was in the final two. Although I didn't particularly like the personalities of the Donatos I didn't hate that they were in the finals. I'm hoping they have a good cast this year, and hoping with the short casting call they were able to get some decent folk. I'm done with the Hollywood hopefuls.

I am trying to be optimistic but like you said, with the short casting call they probably stocked up on mascots (actors) from the local theme parks, hot bodies (models) from the latest JC Penny's underwear shoot and crazies (comedians) from local open mics.

I have been curious as to how different a winter installment will be. What's the weather like in Cali this time of year?? I am thinking there will be a lot less skin and a lot less outdoor competitions, but who knows?

I have heard they are going to make it bathing suit friendly. Maybe put a sun room over the jacuzzi or add heat lamps to the yard? They will do something to make sure there is skin! It will be in the upper 60's so it is not like it is THAT cold anyway. ;)

60's is nice, but I wouldn't consider it bikini weather! Unless, of course you're Jen. I have a feeling she would rock a bikini and fury boots in Alaska.

Looks like they are going with the same amount of people (14) as last summer. Not sure what that does to the short season theory. I guess they could just have more double eliminations, as others have been saying around the blogsphere.
