Behind the Screen: The Buried Life - MTV

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I was a little disappointed. And this Liz show looks awful...

I turned it off after a couple of minutes. But the Buried life was excellent...

I'm sure they've already done some of things they wanted to do since they started in 2006. Who knows though.

It was painfully awful. I tried to sit it out. I could not. I'd rather watch Lets Talk About Pep on VH1

Weird. I did notice that "my life as liz" was a trending topic on Twitter last night though. No sign of the Buried Life.

I really liked my life as Liz, it was so dead on about how HS is. Liz is absolutely beautiful.

I will have to catch it then.

I thought it was hilarious. I'll probably watch the buried life just because it's on right before My Life As Liz.
UrbanTactics#77
I hated the show, I thought it was very boring. I won't be watching this show every week! D:

What is this show My Life As Liz? On MTV Canada, which I get I saw after the Buried Life an episode of Life of Ryan instead.
Anonymous#79
It's about a girl dealing with high school stuff. I do not reccomend it at alllllll
Wilderwolf#80
It's a rebellious, outspoken, used-to-be-a-popular-*****-but-is-now-an-outcast's look at high school. I find it very entertaining and very hilarious.

The Buried Life - 1.028 million viewers - 0.8/1 HH - 0.5/1 A18-49 Bad, but maybe it will grow stronger! It has just started! I am happy it at least got one million though... If anyone's interested, here are My Life As Liz's premiere ratings... My Life As Liz - 0.902 million viewers - 0.7/1 HH - 0.4/1 A18-49

How does that compare to My Life as Liz? I feel like that got a lot of good reviews.
Anonymous#83
Its not good but it could do better. Jersey's shores premiere was a 1.3. There was a ton of promotion, so I have no idea what went wrong.

I just edited in Liz's ratings. :)

Liz is lame and extremely basic. This is exactly why everyone hates her. She should have stuck with the blondes. If she stuck with the Blondes, she wouldn't have been an extra. Anyway, the Buried Life is one of the worst shows on television. Who cares about seeing people having their "wishes" fulfilled"? I don't. These people need to get off their butts and make their own dreams come true instead of relying on a bunch of pee wee geeks on a bus. MTV needs to make a show about people earning money and not giving a f*&% about what people have to say.
unamazing#86
Did anyone see this episode? It was actually better than the first one. I'm really looking forward to next weeks episode.
Seana18#87
The end of the episode was just plain good TV. I just met my dad after 20 years and I damn near cried. I also headed over to mtv.com to see the 2 meet.
Anonymous#88
I love this show!!! The end made me cry, and they are so sneaky! This weeks episode looked less staged as well. I'm sure it would have been easier to get into the wedding without the camera crew. lol.

Yeah this episode was a ton better than the first. It definitely seemed more real and less staged/acted. Liz was great again.
