No, I am not suggesting your a racist, but rather, Landon is in a committed relationship. Call me a hopeless romantic or an eternal optimist, but I'd like to think a taken Landon would of picked Britt because he saw some sort of athleticism and strength in her rather than looks or race. Maybe I am naive though, ;)

Well Britini did tell me that she was more into Landon than he was in her.. He did have a girlfriend, and respected that relationship. Brittini and Landon were and continue to be friends.

I have sometimes wondered about it a little myself, Isabella, after hearing the way some fans have seemed so sure of it. I agree that it can't always be assumed that because someone dated one (or more) people of a race different from their own, that it means that race is their type, or that they would date/hook up with many people of that race. I think some people just use the example of a Landon dating Shavonda as proof that he's open to dating someone else outside his race. I don't think most people mean harm by it when they talk about it. I do think some people take dating just one different person as fact that a person has a preference, though. I'll admit I threw out the possibility of Landon and Brittini possibly being attracted to each other when I heard they were partners (As did a few other people. And I didn't know he had a girlfriend). But it was based on a couple of other things. And I certainly don't assume, and I know not to assume, that a person being attracted to one or two people of a race different than theirs is always be attracted to that race (and has a thing for that race). I do think Landon picked Brittini because he thought she might be an OK competitor. I believe what he said in that interview regarding that. LCBaby, I also remember during the earlier filming of the challenge, it was presented here on the board that Landon had a girlfriend and that speculating that Landon might have a thing for Brittini was not right. So maybe something did change during the challenge for that question to be asked in response to your post. And Landon blogged about the rumor of his ex dating George, BTW.

Ha dont worry blanky it wasnt directed at you. But anyway Isabella this isnt about race, this is about a physical trait that some men are attracted to. Almost all men have a "type" of girl that they are physically attracted to, mine happens to be blonde girls. And as far as Landon picking Brit because "he saw something in her as a competitor" just isnt right. She is a Rookie, he hadnt seen her perform competition wise. If Landon was truely looking for a partner from the get-go that would fit in with his veteran allliance and suit them as well as be an asset to him in the challenges he would have picked probably either Robin, Diem or Aneesa, seeing as though none of those girls had partners in the beginning and and all have proven themselves to be good physical competitors. Bottom line of the point im trying to make is that Brittani is NOT a weak competitor, she WAS carried through the challenge, she IS a pretty girl, and she has NOT proven herself, yet!

Tj is correct. If you look at the facts. She is the 2nd best, if not the best woman there!

That's not a fact either. I'm okay with you guys thinking she wasn't carried through the challenge I would just like to know why you think that? other than the 1 challenge she won In the spoiler thread it was even said that she was being protected.

I think it may be a good idea to stop this discussion and wait until tomorrow night. Maybe tomorrow night will show us Britt in a duel or challenge, which can enlighten some of us who think negatively of her or factor into opinions saying she was carried, isn't strong, is strong, and is a leading female, etc.

I am on the fence between her being best and 2nd best. I will say this, had she more challenge experience ....... I truly believe she would have excelled far beyond any female there. Most of these females had the advantage of doing challenges before, so they had some expectation as to how physically and mentally taxing a challenge can be. Now whether they chose to prepare accordingly (training, conditioning, etc) was up to them. However, evaluating alltime rookie performance in a challenge, thus fas Brittani has outperformed every rookie in the history of these challenges and is very competitive to Rachel - who is pegged as the best female there, and allegedly one of the best in the history of these challenges. For anyone to devalue Brittani's efforts in anyway, shape, or form is total blasphemy imo. You have to give her credit for what she has accomplished thus far. Truth be told, i think if she had trained a little going in, and was on her 2nd or 3rd challenge ....... chances are, she'd be smoking everyone in all of the challenges, well maybe with the exception of a Ruthie at her best.

Rather than try to insult or outline Darock's wrong word choice, a simple I disagree with your opinion greatly would probably of sufficed. And as you said before, not all opinions are equal - we are all well aware of that around here. It's okay though Darock, nobody is perfect. I use blasphemy wrongly all the time, usually in place of saying "That is false". It's not like Webster is going to come call me out - Plus, blasphemy is such a cool word!

I think Brittini is a good competitor but I can see how others may not agree. I consider her to be the second best girl based on this challenge. I like that she doesn't whine & freak out about the challenges ala Diem and Tori. I would rank the remaining girls based on their performance on this challenge as follows: 1. Rachel 2. Brittini 3. Diem 4. Aneesa 5. Tori Tori has not proven herself at all!

Well, thanks for your opinion. :meh: Re Brittini: Those who actually know the cast, and the majority of cast members themselves, have a different point of view. Their prevailing opinion is that Brittini was carried for most of the game. She performed well enough in some missions not to hurt Landon's performance, but she also alienated other cast members. Tori will be able to speak for herself soon enough, so I'll not repeat stuff I've written before. Yes, every challenge is different, but to ignore past evidence when she has been called one of the best competitors, pound for pound, by Evelyn and some of the guys, seems a bit logically barren.

Okay I have something to say. I think that Brittni Making it this far has been a combination of luck and preformance. That is all......for now.

Yeah she is definitely lucky that Lando picked her to be his partner.

She has admited to that in the interview. She knows Lando helped her out a lot. But the FACT is that she could have been called into a duel at any time!

Well, there are strongly conflicting opinions, and I think some people having a different opinion that certain others are being made to feel that their opinion doesn't matter and is completely wrong and without any merit, so it's not surprising to me that it is a speak out topic. I think the way one person may rate a strong competitor differs from another. Some weigh going into a duel more heavily than the missions, some weigh the past more, since there was too much partner stuff on this one, etc. I guess people will have to agree to disagree and let it be. This challenge will be over soon, anyway. RMD, have you asked Brittini more questions?

Yes, but I don't think I will be posting the rest. It seems pointless. LOL

So before anybody says anything about Brittini proving herself in the duel against Diem tonight, it didnt prove anything, it was a bad way to win if you ask me. However, I'm going to eat my words that I have previously said, because Brit did extremely well in the final challenge, I think she did end up proving herself as a decent competitor. :)
