Behind the Screen: Briana Taylor: The EP

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Briana Taylor: The EP

RockSteadyVybes ·
I don't think there's a thread devoted to this, so here goes: Briana mentioned that her EP was on iTunes so I checked.....iTunes and Amazon have it for 4.95....for 5 songs. Checked out the samples...the songs are NOT strong. Her voice sounds amazing, yes, but she needs to work with better songwriters! Not catchy enough for radio, not poppy enough to turn heads...idk. it was lacking something. I might buy it just because I like her though....I hope she does well for herself eventually. ...or maybe i'll just buy Summertime.

Yeah that song is catchy as heck I think she has an amazing voice and I like most of the songs I've heard from her. She is virtually just starting out so the songs will get better lyrically but vocally they are good.

I think Brianna has an amazingly refreshing voice. Her song Summertime is awesome and I really enjoy hearing her acoustic stuff.

well "tragic" is very poppy and catchy. If anything, that should be her first single. I also love "as i walk away". "summertime" is good but i'm kind of over it. anyways, some people prefer music that is lyrically correect, rather then something with a strong beat and shitty lyrics, hence, "soldier boy up in this hoeeeee".........WHATTTTT

So I can buy it online @ Amazon? I'm not good with the whole iTunes thing! Sweet I'm excited for Brianna I hope she does really well..... :)

yeah....Amazon is much better to buy from too. their MP3 store rocks. so yeah! I might just end up buying the whole EP. its only 5 bucks. it'll support her, and i like her...so its worth it Does anyone know who wrote Summertime? Both lyrics and music?
southside79#10
matthew bair wrote all her songs. he's part of the group eve6. you can see him playing guitar in the live video of her singing summertime, he has short spunky hair
RockSteadyVybes#11
I'm seeing Eve 6 tomorrow, actually! haha Free show in Stamford, CT wooooo!
southside79#12
yep, was there at the one in jersey last night, well he's the new guitarist
RockSteadyVybes#13
How were they live? Did they play mostly older songs? I have all 3 of their releases...but don't know any of their new tunes...if they have any.

soulja boy needs to step his lyrics game up and that beat for his first song is so damn annoying.

I have to admit I like the Travis Barker remix to that song Crank Dat but can't stand the original version of it much anymore. But it's not as bad as that song he does with the yahh or whatever. The being said I like Brianna and I think she is definitely on the right track.

I really like Brianna as well, I hope her carrer take off...I just can't understand why she didn't make it to the top 12 (or however many) on the 5th season considering it was Taylor Hicks that won.

So I believe this is Matt Bair (on the left), the guy who wrote Briana's songs. This is him performing live with Eve 6 last night in Stamford. meh...this wont work, its coming up too large. go here to see it =) Edit: When it is coming up too large via photo upload, you need to attach it instead.
southside79#18
yep that's him ;)

what was that hit song Eve 6 had? It was featured on one of the Now thats what i call music releases. They need to make a comback
RockSteadyVybes#20
Here's to the Night and Inside Out were their 2 biggest songs...though all 3 of their albums are REALLY good. apparently they're working on another album now =)
