Behind the Screen: Big Brother 13: Week 2 - Nominations

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I think if anyone can keep from the newbies that they voted with the Vets, that it's Shelly. She seems like she's smart enough to do it...

Big Brother 13: Week 2 - Nominations

As the vets keep control of the game, Fab's hopes for Rachel to be evicted gets smaller. Also Jordan nominates a pair for eviction ;)

Adam gets on my last nerve.

Surprisingly he hasn't done anything to get on my nerves yet. Lawon is the one getting on my nerves. It seems that every word he says is enunciated and overdramatic.

I could have been an Adam fan, but that time has passed. It's still an open field as far as the newbies are concerned. None really jump out, but I don't dislike any either, to the extend of previous seasons (well, at least now that Keith is gone.)

I guess they didn't have enough good conversations of strategy and so they had to put in the Brenden/Dominic superhero fight...
Bacchus#7
Danielle, don't fall for it. Don't get played by Dominic (unless you are going all in and know he won't betray you.)

I'm not spoiled, but I have to assume if the numbers are as one would assume, there isn't much strategy for the next few weeks - or at least there shouldn't be unless people flip. It should be "paint by number" until all the golden keys are handed out if everyone sticks to their guns and alliances.

Oh these costumes are hysterical. Big Brother never ceases to amaze me with their costumes.

I understand that, but I want to see them turning on each other :D Which will only be the best if a newbie wins HOH next week.

I'm all for the drama as well and could see myself pulling for a couple newbies, should they smarten up. :D

Adam seemed a tad too happy that he is getting to eat jerky with his slop.

I'm guessing from that reaction, it was basically a luxury item for him. Jerky score! ;)

Tough call on who should go, but Dom seems like a strategist and he'd get my vote to eliminate the danger.

That's a smart move, but he basically told the Vets he will vote with them. I think they should get rid of Adam considering he didn't side with them to begin with.

I had high hopes for Adam but that's over now. The way he has been playing, it just seems really funny how he wanted to be the one to get rid of ****. Cassi and Dom are my two favorite so far of the newbies. It just seems like they are the only ones that are actually trying to play to win, while the others are just playing to get in the jury house.

I'm not getting the vibe that anyone is playing to be on the jury. I have a feeling they are all actually playing to win this time. They are probably the best newbies we've seen in a while, concerning gameplay in my opinion. They just all seem quite smarter than the past ones.

Okay I'm annoyed with Rachel again. I'm under the impression that she's insecure (and that convo with Brendan about plastic surgery proves it) and she's easily threatened by beautiful women. Remember Monet and Kristen, Rachel just had to get them out because they were such huge threats (or floaters, a waste of an HoH to me). I don't even think Cassi is a floater, it's only the second week so how is she really just floating by?

The Dom/Brendon superhero stuff was such obvious filler for the episode....it cracked me up that the editors were so lazy they didn't even bother to use camera angles that didn't show Keith laying in the background. Rachel is so repulsive. She annoyed me during BB12 but I wouldn't say I disliked her, that's not the case with this season. She's a psychotic bully. I'm really hoping this all blows up in her face......and soon! I'm rooting for Danielle to win and then either Cassi or Dom as a runner up. I absolutely cannot stand Shelley and Khalia.

So happy to see that people are jumping on the Rachel is annoying train!! :D

I'm assuming because they turned on the rookies' alliance? :D Shelley also annoys me but it's because she thinks she's playing a good strategic game but IMO it's really sloppy, it's only going to take a few weeks for the house to realize that she plays both sides when they realize how unpredictable her voting patterns are. (But seeing how Rachel hates Cassi they might keep Shelley around if they ever get put up).

It was only going to be a matter of time. ;)
