Behind the Screen: Big Brother 13 - Spoilers (Live Feeds)

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

If he was going to be replaced, I don't think they would have given Daniele the golden ticket...

Key* This is not Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. LOL Daniele does in fact have a golden KEY and **** will NOT be replaced.
Gucci Mane#65
My guess is that his departure reduces the number of golden key weeks down to three, instead of four.

I'm curious to see what happens if someone on the block wins POV. Do both people come off and a new pair goes up? Or is it every person for themselves? I think if one person were to win POV (say Keith had won POV), it would be unfair to take him off and put another person from a different pair back on.
Gucci Mane#67
To my understanding, both people come off. However, the thing I find unfair is that Brendon is still able to compete for HOH. Which means if he wins, Rachel will be safe for a second straight week. But I guess it does kind of makes sense.

Yes, both people in the pair come off because POV is played, and won, in pairs(everyone with their partner).

Didn't see Dick's season and was looking forward to watching him play. Bummer. Wonder how they'll handle it on the show.

Thanks s&v. That's an interesting twist.

I was looking forward to watching him play as well. From what I've told, he recorded a video that will be played for the house guests.

That makes the most sense. I know this is early to say, but I'm really already sick of the pairs and cannot wait for it to get individual. That's when you find out who's there to play to win. On the POV topic, I wonder if all the pairs get to play for POV or if only a certain amount do?

If I remember correctly it was only 4 pairs, but I could be slightly off with that.

As much as I disagree with his statements, he has the right to an opinion and should not be vilified for having that opinion. My only problem with what was said is the way that he said it to Kalia.

Big Brother 11 is actually the only season where I stopped watching altogether towards the end. Something about that cast just turned me off completely. In the article it said that Jeff went on a homophobic rant against one of bis BB11 cast members....can anybody tell me who it was exactly? I will admit I was liking Jeff on BB13 but after watching that clip I won't be rooting for him any longer. He is entitled to his opinion (as ignorant and ridiculous as it might be) but the way he blew up at Kahlia was disgusting. I thought the way he raised his voice and and started cussing was so disrespectful and uncalled for. Good for her for standing up to him and remaining calm and respectful.

If I remember correctly, he said something toward Russell who was Middle Eastern.

Is it bad that I'm kind of laughing that this whole debacle started because they were talking about Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter?

Do you guys think ED will be replaced? Or maybe they will just skip a week of nominations?
God, I hope not. This twist is all over the place. New people please.

They should bring Jen Johnson in and partner her with Daniele. Now that would spice things up.

Jeff's homophobic remarks have caused quite an uproar in the media! 'Big Brother' star goes into anti-gay tirade | Sympatico.ca TV Guide I am a Jeff fan but he lost a lot of points in my book after this incident. He must have strong opinions about gays if he got so riled up about something so small.
My BB8 friend (and, coincidentally, outrageous gay guy), Joe Barber and I had an exchange on Facebook yesterday in response to Jeff's comments. Joe concludes that Jeff is not homophobic, but should now be the first vet to be evicted. Jeff is also a friend of mine, so I tried to see things from both perspectives, although I can't associate myself with Jeff's words. Rather than vilify Jeff or the culture that raised him in the Chicago 'burbs, we agreed that the best approach is to seize the opportunity to educate him as to why a gay teacher is no more likely to endanger a young school-age child than is a Catholic priest, as potential pedophile in the eyes of some critics, likely to endanger a child. Instead, we should look at this as a great opportunity to build bridges and open doors rather than spout hatred and vitriol in response to what were clearly ill-timed and ill-tempered remarks. In a couple of months, I'd love to see Jeff's facebook picture be the now-classic "No H8" image that has become a very visible symbol of support for people who, in my opinion, are "alternatively" inclined to my own preferences.

He did call Russell the f-word, and a "****," but the Middle Eastern related comments came from Chima who referred to him as a terrorist or some other such comments.

Production could realistically only bring in someone new who had been kept away from watching the game unfold because that person could know everyone's stated strategy from watching the feeds and the diary room sessions from the broadcast shows. As far as I know, nearly every past power player is watching and commenting on the season, so I can't see how bringing anyone back could happen. However, I'd not be surprised if the first vet evicted is kept away from the game and the public so he or she could return to the game.

The internets are telling me that Jordan won HOH.

From what I heard, because I didn't watch last night's episode yet, it was a skill golfing type competition and Jordan was 3rd from last and was in the lead when Brenden and Jeff decided to throw it and give it to her.

Which I didn't know. I havent been watching the feeds this year due to last seasons boring and very predictable outcome. Glad Rachel is finally learning to use her brain.

This season is going to be very boring and predictable. I'm calling a Jeff, Jordan, Brendon, Rachel, Daniele, Porsche, Kalia, Shelly, Lawon, and Adam Top 10.

I was just adding additional information that one may like to know... It would make more sense for Jeff and Jordan to put up shelly and Cassi or Kalia and Lawon and have someone win POV and take them off putting up Dominic and Adam....because then there is no chance of adam and dom winning POV... But right now it seems that Jordan will probably just put up Dom and Adam...
RMD1#90
Adam and Dominick have been nominated for eviction. They picked players for the veto competition: Jeff and Jordan, Rachel and Brendon, and Adam and Dominick. The POV will be played later today.
saltvinegar#91
Rachel better not throw this POV like she was talking about. I want Cassi out of there!
