Behind the Screen: Big Brother 11: Ep. 26 - Discussion

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Some of the things she does are stupid, but she is sharp as to how the game works and actually fought to get out of her underdog position -- she didn't just luck out. Underdog position...

Danni from season 3 and All-Satrs lied all the time but she actually had a reason to for her lies. Natalies lies make no sense...

Underdog position? Her clan ran the house for the first half, she was never the real target through the middle which is why she survived and Kevin eliminated her biggest competitor near the end. She has done nothing in this game other than successfully pick a random number to win HOH. Can you imagine if Natalie was trying to feed her brand of gameplay to winners from seasons past like Dan, **** or God forbid Dr. Will. They'd be on the floor suffering from a laugh attack... The reason I did not like season 9 (and by extension this season) is because it was a battle of mental lightweights. Sure, this time around, Michelle might be book smart but she has the social game of Anthony Edwards in the original Revenge of the Nerds and comparable athleticism. Where did they go wrong with casting? To start, by going with clicks. Instead of getting "smart athletes" that would be good all around competitors they brought us stereotypical jocks, inept nerds, "popular" people who as a group couldn't forge an intelligent phrase and some random odds and ends who in all reality are just nerds without the brains. The only reason this was not an all athlete final four (plus dead weight "take me to the final two" Jordan) is because of the twist which was dropped in to salvage a season spiraling out of control. Otherwise it would have been the best physical "rocks for jocks" players winning all the competitions and ruling the house in the second half like they did in the first. So, I put out a plea to Allison Grodner: Please next season bring us smart athletic people and leave the stereotypes behind...

Danni from season 3 and All-Satrs lied all the time but she actually had a reason to for her lies. Natalies lies make no sense. Also, Jordan reminds me a lot of Chicken George. They were both very sweet and innocent(usually). Im sure that she has gotten lost trying to find the diary room at some point too. I wanted to root for them because they're so lovable but its hard because they don't do anything.
