Big Brother 10 Cast Notified

Awesome news. Everything is wrapping up (for network tv) over the next few weeks and we are going to need to fill the void. As much as I hated last season, it was still better then no Big Brother and I anxiously await the new season (and hope lessons were learned!)

I agree. Last season wasn't the best season ever, but once they split up it got alittle better. I don't think they will be partners again anytime soon. Can't wait till July 13 :). (I think that is when it starts. lol.) Lets cross our fingers for a better season.

Oh pooh, I really liked this past season. I thought Baller and Shelia were funny.

I really hope this season is better, even though I hate to admit it I watched and was engrossed with the train wreck that this past season was. But the characters were so shallow, one-dimensional, and transparent, not like Evil ****, Janelle, Boogie, Will of seasons pass. Those characters had a lot more going on then meets the eye. So I really hope that they get a people with more charisma, personality, and brains.

I have my eye on two people who are known to some former cast members and with whom I've corresponded for several months. I recently sent emails telling them that if they didn't respond, I'd understand since the cast finalists had been formally notified. Neither responded, which is not their normal pattern of behavior. I'll keep watching and notify Bacchus if I get some confirmation.

I think this season will be much better. And much more about gameplay. I don't see another full household of mostly young single people all being thrown together happening again any time soon....

Me too. From what I keep hearing, this cast is supposed to be older and more mature. Now being more mature then last season is not that hard, hopefully we can get some people that actually know how to play the game while keeping us entertained.

can't wait for BB10....it is my summer entertainment...didn't love BB9, but watch it anyway...looking foward to new season, hope they learned from their mistakes and cast a better group...xoxo

One of the two just let me know that he made it to the semi-finals... but didn't get the final call. The other one isn't talking. Hmmm

I am happy that they are going to be casting older people instead of all young people. I have a good feeling that this season Big Brother is going to be a much better season than BB9. A friend of mine is agreeing to watch Survivor next fall IF and only IF I watch BB10 with her. I agreed. I'll be jumping back in after not watching since Season 2 lol

So apparently there has been a rumor going around that the Big Brother 10 cast will be half old and half young . People are calling it old vs young. It may be true considering that they are casting more older people this season. But who knows? Sources

And the previous article there is about the speculation that the format is Fan vs. Faviorites. All I see is a site attracting viewers and revenue. Whatever it is, Jokers will probably have it first.

It is a good game, it is a good show... I liked it best when it was stripped down to what it was in Seasons 2 & 3. It was personalities that made the show what it was then and it is what fans of the show, like myself... enjoy the most about the show. Not the twists, or the competitions or the eye candy. They are all part, but it is the personalities that make us come back and devote our f***** lives to this show for 3 months out of the year. And the personalities do not ALL have to be extreme. Danielle from BB3, Diane BB5, Hardy BB2, Bunky... I can go on and on... Even Dr. Will & Janelle are not extreme personalities. Yet, I know that I am an extreme personality and there have been many great extreme personalities in the house as well with people like Jase, Howie, James BB9 and others. And you need your Roddy's, your Lisa's, your Erika's, your Sharon's that do toilet scrubbing with another HG's toothbrush, and although I hated her and every pimple on her fat face (she thought she was so hot, yack...) you need your Allison's BB4. It is only my opinion, but I don't see the Silver Skidmark as someone that is going to propel Big Brother in any way. The object is to make it more interesting, not more annoying. If I wanted to be annoyed, I would have stayed married, ok? As the old Exec Producer wrote to me in two letters, one in each of the seasons I didn't get on the show, Seasons 5 & 6... ****, you just didn't quite fit the "mix" of the people we cast for this season. He is right, "the mix" is extremely important. Which is why last season was weak. Too many like personalities. I understand casting these people is a f****** tough job and that you don't know what you are getting most of the time until they are in the house. And enough with people in the house knowing someone else in the house. In the beginning the whole thing with the show was "14 strangers together in a house." I have never, ever heard anyone say... Wow, that was a great twist they had on Big Brother this season. The people they had on it sucked a fat d***, but the twist saved the season!

Idk if I would be able to watch Big Brother or not with him on there, this is not what I had in mind when I thought older people.... he has a very annoying voice....
