Probably b/c Knight and Jemmye weren't going to volunteer so Preston and Mckenzie either just had to volunteer or be voted in by San Diego. They weren't going to throw Knight in...he's the main connection to that alliance.

No but they we're exactly close, and weren't going into this challenge either. I guess in my head, I always see Knight and Jem. Even in future challenges, I'd be odd - in my head - to see one without the other. Kinda like Brad and Tori

I'll always love Jemmye and Knight. I wonder how they would have done if they went in against Sarah and Chet.

I don't know, I always thought Jemmye, Knight, and McKenzie were all cool with each other. I know Ashlee is Knight's go-to girl (besides Jem), but I always thought McKenzie and Knight were cool. Actually, he was on Derrick's podcast not long before the challenge started filming and said he's really close to all the girls on his season (well, he never mentioned Sahar by name), but that he's not really a fan of Ryan, Preston, or Eric. But again, I don't know much beyond what he stated in the interview.

You must've missed the episode where they got into it and she told him "two pumps can't bump" when he tried to hit on her. That **** was funny as hell, Yankee. Other than that I can't think of any other problems they had.

Eric was cool but I don't see why the guys on that season don't get along with each other other than Preston and Ryan which is a given.

This team, as far as the physical challenges go, sucks. However, for drama purposes Jemmye and Knight are good. Replace Preston with Ryan Leslie and it possibly goes to an Adam Royer level.

According to Trey, Knight pushed Laura to the ground after she tried to break up an argument between Knight and Preston.

In the interview with Knight posted in the spoiler thread, Knight stated that he doesn't talk to the guys in the house because he thinks Eric's a nice guy but a "creep" and bland, that Ryan is the most awkward person he's ever met, and Preston because he doesn't really respect him that much because he gives up on things too easily and puts on an act (basically he made it sound like Preston plays up his flamboyance, instead of just being himself), but that he gained respect for Preston during the challenge. I don't know whether or not that's true, but I do have to say I think without those two, that season would not have been nearly as successful. Love them or hate them, they were probably the most popular RW couple to come around since Danny and Melinda. Certainly the most popular in the past few seasons.

LMAO.. The guy is just full of it.... Also by no mean are they the most popular RW couple since DM... Heather and Dustin spring to mind, for example.. On top of that they "may" have been "valuable" enough for the RW but they bring absolutely nothing to the challenge as competitors...and I really can't stand if people are cast despite being dimwitted idiots with no particular athletic ability just for the drama alone (that's what The RW and Jersey Shore are there for...)

As molds pointed out, Vegas aired after NOLA. Dustin and Heather may be more popular, I don't really know or care, but I think as a whole, I'd still give it to Jemmye and Knight. Mostly because I think Dustin/Heather were mostly popular because of Dustin solely. Heather, while I like her, was fairly bland. Whereas, I think Knight and Jemmye together as a couple were more notable because they were both so outrageous and belligerent. But obviously in general the Vegas season was probably the more popular season.

He works at a Honda dealership.

Knight goes into new dealership and sets up the finance dept how Honda corporate wants it run. I know him personally.

I just watched back a random episode (ep7) of Nola. He was 10x worse than on The Challenge.

I always wonder how these people could possibly have real jobs...pretty sure the company I work for would not appreciate it if I turned up on some nationally-broadcast reality show acting a fool. I've heard Laurel has a legitimate corporate job but aren't most challengers involved in entertainment, school, or nothing at all? Tough to go on a show like this and act like these people do if you have a job that requires any level of professionalism that you have to come back to when the show is over.

I hope McKenzie comes back and does another challenge.
