Behind the Screen: America's Best Dance Crew 3

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I'm have to pass cause its obvious after ASIID lost that the ********** crews will win. I'll try to be open-minded...

Thanks. I do have a tendency to be rude sometimes but not like true life anger management rude. Team Millennia is back, awesome. I remember the name but not what they look like.

I just saw the episodes and every single crew surprised me besides G.O.P Dance. Great season is ahead for sure!

Yeah this season def. has the most creative crews. I liked them all. The head crew member of the group "Quest" looks very familiar. I think I've either seen him on SYTYCD or America's Got Talent, cant really remember.

I was really impressed with the first episode too. What was the name of the group that only had one girl? They wore the glasses? Shane (or someone) said the guys were carrying her.... SO not what I saw. I thought she was great. I really liked the two all girl groups though. I'm excited to watch this season unfold. ps. I want JC back!!

Yeah, I would have been mad if they got eliminated. I like their style.

The guy from Dynamic Edition tried out for SYTYCD and made it to Vegas but was eliminated. I remember the Nigel liked him a lot and so did Mary.

Quest has more than one SYTYCD alumni. Season 1 - Ryan Conferido (the guy who back flipped onto his head) Season 2 - Steve Terada and Victor Kim tried out but didn't make it to the finals Season 3 - D. Trix AND Hok that's 5 alumni in total. Plus they performed as a crew on the SYTYCD finale last season and the american idol finale

Thanks for the info. Well they have a crew full of stars. Their performances should be interesting to watch.

Yeah I'm with you on that. I love the Boxcuttuhz style. They are much better than what they displayed tonight.
LilysMom#20
Last night was a weird challenge, and I don't think it showcased anyone. It will be hard to tell who the frontrunners are.

Me too...I think the judges pushed the through out of pity...not wanting to send them home so soon when they missed out last year...

Yeah exactly what I was thinking!

I thought it was so funny when JC said "this is not America's Best HipHop Crew" i so agree with him.

Yeah he did have a good point when he said that, although Shane claims he didnt say it in that context.

he didn't, BUT I think actions speak louder than words and this is the first non hip-hop oriented group they have cast on the show...

Yeah you are right about that. I think they did really good last night though.

I re-watched the clip.. Shane didn't technically say that. The Jabbawockeez guy basically said they needed to do dance styles other than what they do.... Shane then "sort of" agreed with him and said they need to bring "the hip hop up". I took, "bring the hip hop up" as ... "give us more"... However, he could have meant "make it better". In the context of the entire judgement, (especially after the previous judge's comments) I'm assuming a lot of people understood it the way JC did. Personally, I remember having the same thought when I heard it. Either way.. I agree with JC. Hip hop is HUGE.. and I love it. However, dance is dance is dance. It shouldn't have to be just hip hop.

What's the name of the group that does the clogging? Also, I think Box Cuttuhz could've stuck around longer.

Dynamic Edition And yea, i think so too. But i think this season the winners will be either Quest or Beat Freaks. I hope Beat Freaks win it.
Lotus#30
Yeah I think Quest will automatically be in the finals. Has anybody notice that this season is like a crossover with SYTYCD. I mean I recognized Hok instantly.

Am I the only one who finds Mario Lopez to be an annoying host? o_O
