1) Both girls were acting stupid. 2) Why did she wear a binkini in the first place to a singing competition? 3) I personally do believe that Kara had the right to question why Randy and Simon were so quick to say yes to this girl. I've seen plenty, PLENTY, of other auditions that were better than that one and they were quick to say no.

I had to agree with Kara about Bikini girl. She was not that good. Yes, she can sing/hold a note. But singing well is the ability to string those notes together with flow and melody. Bikini girl was singing it one note at a time. The girl came in there intentionally selling her body for a gold ticket and her attitude was what rubbed Kara and Paula wrong. I would have voted no as well. There's confidence in your ability and then there is superiority, that girl has no humility. I doubt she'll make Top 12.

LOL. After 7 years I don't think he could makeover his image. The only reason I watch these auditions is for Simon to make people feel bad about themselves!!

I like that Simon is brutally honest some times, but tonight it just seemed that he was being overly cruel. I mean if someone came in thinking that they could sing and saying that they were all great and they were the next American Idol and then they sounded like a cat falling off a roof then I can enjoy the entertainment in that. But a couple of times tonight he really crushed some decent clueless people and that's just wrong. ;) As good as the music teacher was, I really hated that they pimped out his tragic story like that. He is that good and they really didn't need to sell him and pull on our heart strings like that.

I'm surprised Simon let that Kacey girl who sang 'A Thousand Miles' through. I didn't think she was that impressive. The first girl who sang the Leona Lewis song was good. More to come it just started here!

Ok, I hope I don't sound mean or anything, but is this a singing competition? There's some good singers, but what's up with the stories they share with the camera? Also, while I find the auditions hilarious, at the end of it all i'm wondering why they show a majority of people who can't sing and act ridiculous on tv rather then showing the people who actually have talent and who could make it. Seriously.

Because the bad auditions bring plenty of viewers who want to make fun of other peoples embarrasment. as for the back stories...it is American Idol....I think people always take some of thier back stories into consideration when voting. They usually wait a lil longer to put them in the episodes, but they decided to do away with some of the bad ausitions and try to make the show a bit more positive.

I noticed that Simon said yes to a lot of cute girls, even though they were really bad. Now that's he single maybe he's looking for a new love and using Idol to find her. Anyone have a video of the girl that sang "Barracuda"? I heard she was good but I missed it.

Thanks for the video, she was really good. She even sounded a little like heart, kinda the same style of singing. Can't wait to see how far she makes it, I think she will make it far.

Simon is right, she is different. She can sing super well and is super easy on the eyes!! :-)
