Behind the Screen: The Amazing Race 21: Episode Discussion

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I love how they had to put (Hello) as a subtitle for Hai. As if we wouldn't know what hai meant...

But they at least have 60 minutes starting 30 minutes later than normal. Maybe we'll be running on time anyway.

It is only awesome if the right team wins. :) That aside, I am watching Revenge at 9. TAR is getting to the point that I'll just record it.

I'll be watching Dexter at 9 because that has no commercials. Then I will be fast forwarding through the commercials that come with Revenge. There's really no point in watching Amazing Race anymore. There aren't that many great teams to root for.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm skipping TAR tonight as well. I'll catch it tomorrow.

I would watch TAR if it came on time, but when it starts screwing with Dexter/Homeland/Walking Dead/Revenge then it is secondary. It's a good 8 PM Sunday show. It's a good show at almost any hour most of the week. However, at 9 PM on Sunday - it is a Monday DVR show.

Yup, they're one of the reasons I chose to watch Revenge live over TAR. I was cracking up at Ryan and Abby's impressions because they really were spot on.

I could not even tell you the last time 60 Minutes started this early.

Thank God as I have removed my TAR timer. It is either on at 8 PM or I'm not watching.

How about 8:10? :D This week is close enough for me to get both TAR and Revenge in.

It's actually right on time here as there was no late game on CBS in my (New Enlgand) market.

Oh, you didn't get to watch the joy that was the Oakland-KC game? They didn't boo Cassel when he got hurt this time.
TwoStrikes#83
Only 4 minutes behind for me
molds13#84
Geez, we're all over the place. I'm about 10 minutes behind. 60 Minutes just ended.
Bacchus#85
I'm right on time, I'm winning! I think. :D
Bacchus#86
Although now I feel like I am watching by myself, lol.
molds13#87
A 2 hour lead should be enough to stay in first place with no travel. Then again, this is the Amazing Race.

To have an equalizer on this leg would be unfortunate, but as you said this is the Amazing Race.
Dash_Vegas#89
Got to love those twins!!
molds13#90
I do love how Ryan and Abbie are now referring to them as the twinsies instead of just the twins.
