I am actually kinda excited about this since (if) RT will be writing it...as much as I was into 90210, I stopped watching once all the new characters started showing up...not on purpose, just had a lot going on in my little 10 year old life at the time.
We need to take deep breaths because we are gonna start hyperventilating! This is THE MOST EXCITING NEWS we've heard….well, today. The CW network is working on a spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210. OMG!!!!!!! At this point, it's just a pilot, but the CW needs to order this to series! Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas is in talks to pen the project, which has been put on the fast track by the network. It is unclear if any of the original cast members will return, but they HAVE to have at least a couple on. The Peach Pitt is back!!!!

Yea!! I love 90210!! The only orig cast member I can see coming back is Ian Ziering...I can see Steve working at Beverly Hills High...at least that's what I picture. (either that or he's the creepy janitor!)

The cast has been announced. I have not heard of any of them beyond Jennie Garth who is going to play a guidance councilor as her original 90210 character. 90210 Cast: Jessica Walter, Lori Loughlin,Shenae Grimes,Tristan Wilds, Dustin Milligan, Anna Lynne McCord, Ryan Eggold, Jessica Stroup and Michael Steger.

I quit watching I believe before Brenda even left the show...I wish I hadn't stopped watching but I was always out and about doing my thing with friends. Soooo, Who Is Emily Valentine?

Oh my goodness, where do I begin? Emily was the motorcycle-riding bad girl who came to West Beverly and dated Brandon & Dylan. Went a little crazy, almost burned down the homecoming float (stopped of course by Brenda who I personally would have backhanded), and then showed up in future seasons as a temptation for BRandon. Think that about covers it. Re: the cast......wasn't Lori Loughlin the actress who played John Stamos's wife on Full House??? Wow --- I'm dating myself, aren't I???? :weep:

LOL, that is too funny...we have went from 90210 (2.0) to Full house to Dukes of Hazzard...hopefully the new 90210 lives up to its predecessor.

Hell yes! Reading your written interpretation of the song (and I knew EXACTLY what you were talking about) just cracked me up!! I hope it's like that still too....but they'll probably pump it up, a la the updated Sex and the City movie theme. :)

The theme song :music: (see Katiedid's above) ETA: Oh nevermind. *duh* They aired the preview at the end of ANTM I believe and it was just for a second, showing the cast.

Augh, the theme song just gets me so hyped!! The best of 90210 was definitely the high school years. After Dylan and Brenda bounced out, so did I. I do remember when they brought Val on, and I was so pissed to see my beloved Kelly Kopowski of Saved by the Bell become the resident bad girl!
